Decision day for postponing yet another Bury game v Rotherham on Tuesday night. It’s a shame we didn’t postpone Tuesday night with Rotherham

Good article. Tells it as it is. This bit was new to me. " Many admonish the EFL for taking a hardline stance after approving Dale’s takeover, but as his ownership began mid-season, he didn't have to pass the ‘fit and proper person’ test and now runs the club entirely on his own." So anyone can take over the ownership of a club in mid-season without being checked at all?

Although that should certainly not be the case, it does seem to have happened here. £1 changed hands between Day and Dale, and that was that!

Do we know if the staff and current players are getting paid whilst this is ongoing?

What a bunch. Of course they should be checking everything whenever it happens just can’t be bovvered would be a better line.

The statement is clear and Bury have 3 EFL deadlines next week for them to provide the outstanding evidence regarding a number of financial commitments or else:
Monday: Tranmere game is off.
Wednesday: Kicked out of League Cup.
Friday: Kicked out of Football League.
We all know what’s going to happen here.

Will we be gaining promotion because we are the last man standing?

A lot of that should’ve been implemented a long time ago reference the assessment for a good and financially fit proper owner of a football club. The football league need to get a grip with the assessing.

The waters get murkier. The Administrators of Day's Company, Mederco Ltd, have assigned the debt of £7,111,480.65 owed by Bury to RCR Holdings Ltd. According to some on the Bury fans forum, the sole director of RCR Holdings Ltd is Dale's daughter's boyfriend! Dale has also submitted a claim for £3,680,000 against Bury, but the Insolvency Practitioner dealing with the CVA, Steven Wiseglass, said that he believes that there is some merger between these two debts, and it is unclear who owns how much of each debt. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7357695/Bury-news-Crisis-deepens-owner-Steve-Dale-claims-hes-owed-3-7m-club.html

Someone is telling porkies then !!!!!!!! This 'really' needs to be sorted out immediately as it's making a mockery of Bury FC and all the 'loyal' people who work for it.

I’ve examined the evidence here and come to the watertight conclusion that Dawson needs to check his building society statements more closely.

This was on talk sport today, quite a bonkers interview It's really hard to believe that Dale has paid Dawson in full. I'm sure the PFA just give players who haven't been paid interest free loans which in the end they'll have to pay back. And he guarantee's that Bury will not go under after Keown asked him if he wanted the club to go under. He's had 8 months, now he's got less than 8 days! How anybody can believe anything that comes out of that conman's gob is beyond me. Keown put a great point to him about why he was clinging on and whether it was so he could sell the land after the club goes under. He has said about his health issues in the past, this really wouldn't surprise me. The best thing Dale said was to Dawson when he started asking him to prove things. Oh the irony of Dale to be asking that considering what he's failed to prove so far.

If I was the EFL, I'd take a hard line with Dale and give him until the fust wick in May to sort this out.

Just throw them and Bolton out. They have both had enough time.

Just throw them and Bolton out. They have both had enough time. Bolton are going through the process currently to appease the EFL, they are playing their games and the take over is close to being finalised (without any further interuptions from deluded potential buyers hopefully).

That 'Steve' hasn't quite got the figures right, but what he says is interesting.
Incidentally, HMRC voted against the CVA.
