It will soon reach the stage where managers will dread a near future match with us!!

There has to be a realistic chance that Southend could part with Chris Powell before Saturday.

And he’s an experienced League One manager, like many on here have been saying we need!

McCall was heavily backed in the January window and, on the face of it, made several very good signings. Their form since is a surprise but that said the Sc***horpe Chairman does look like one of those with ideas above their station. I think he sacked Graham Alexander last season when they were in the top six for example.

And he’s an experienced League One manager, like many on here have been saying we need! But he wouldn’t come as an experienced assistant I bet!!

You do wonder whether Hurst fancies another 'Great Escape'...mad that he is still sitting things out...

Sc***horpe have confirmed that caretaker manager, Andy Dawson, will be in charge for the remainder of this season.

they will still get relegated, struggle next season, sack the new manager and offer McCall the job again

Hmmm, well, Rochdale certainly got a bounce out of sacking Keith Hill.
But then we always suffer from a combination of s**te performance and s**te officiating at 'Dale.

It appears Hurst and Doig have been at recent Sc***horpe games, that job would certainly suit him more geographically. I'm not sure Swann is the best boss to work for though, he seems to have ideas above their station for Sc***horpe, e.g. sacking Graham Alexander when they were in the playoffs last season.

A perfect match for the cheating play acting scumbags.

Hurst is also being mentioned re the Plymouth job. Sc***horpe is easily travellable from Rotherham (40 miles) wouldn’t fancy commuting to Plymouth (291 miles) ...

A perfect match for the cheating play acting scumbags. Mind you it would be a shock for their players. I doubt Doigy would tolerate play acting and time wasting for long!!!!

I have been saying for weeks I expect Hurst and Doig to go to Scunny. That probably means it won’t happen, but it seems an obvious move to me

Yes would think its more likely that Plymouth who hes also linked with
But man, what a step down from where he had got too. Going to take a while to repair the damage of his Ipswich Stint.
Still think we will see him back here one day... might be a long time though

Still think we will see him back here one day... might be a long time though May be as early as next season, surely will only ever be in the away dressing room whenever it is. Im sure the fans will give him a nice Shropshire welcome...............
