Once again, another shambles. Why are we playing one up front against Burton Albion when we NEED a win??
One win in twelve, not good enough! Even the football under him is horrific. We've turned into a horrific anti football s**thouse team. Really not enjoyable to watch. Season ticket sales will suffer having to put up with that hoofball 'football'.
Time to go, Sam.

His post match interview was farcical.
A good solid point....... or two lost?!
Keeps the unbeaten run going........ or extends your record to 1 win in 12 league games?!
Burton are a good side....... no they’re not.
Took Campbell off as he looked like he was tiring.......really? Didn’t look tired to me!
Gilliead did well in centre mid........ no he didn’t, he was anonymous!
Fej was on the bench to rest him and we have 14 games left.......we haven’t played for a week. Get a grip. He’s a professional athlete.
We played it down the wings....... no we didn’t because we had no width AGAIN!
Burton were slowing the game down...... so was Steve Arnold!
Whalley had a good game....... yes, but play him in his natural position, out WIDE!
I’m sorry, but Mr Ricketts is proving to be tactically inept. He tries to fudge his way through these post match interviews. Why can’t he see this lack of width is killing us? Square pegs in round holes is the most apt buzz phrase for what I am witnessing.
League 2 is fast approaching and we ARE sleepwalking towards it.

Wingers really do now need to go on the extinct species list at the Meadow, then again maybe so does tactically knowledge.

We got 87 points last season playing one up front.

Yes, he has go to go.
I wish people would stop pretending he took on a team rock bottom of the league. ‘’it’s not his team’’. We were 7 points clear when he took over.
He’s taken us backwards at an incredible rate. There are no good league performances any more. A terrible manager that simply isn’t watching the same football we are, or is stuck in complete denial.

Tactically inept. Completely out of his depth. One dimensional. Totally uninspiring. He was a defender and he literally has no clue how to set us up going forward, this is obvious on a game by game basis. Hell we can’t even get the defending right. You reap what you sow. Both appointments this season were poor and lacking ambition after all the momentum built up on and off the field last season. The board should hang their heads in shame. Going down 100%.

Not usually someone who wants the manager out this early but clearly he is so out of his depth it's staggering. If we have any chance of staying up we need to cut our losses and get him out now because it's going to cost us a lot more being relegated.
Zero plan, zero tactical awareness, zero cohesion. We've gone backwards under him from the low bar that Askey set.
The players look confused, can't do the basics, there's no width, they lump it forward at every opportunity, he chops and changes the team constantly, we're defensively a shambles and offer almost no threat, his subs are mystifying and he keeps making the same mistakes week in week out.
Wr**ham must be loving it. I'm certainly not.

Very true, but we weren't playing a 90's direct ball tactic like we do now. Can't remember many long ball teams who played only one striker. Actually, maybe Bolton did under Big Sam?

In what way was he qualified for this job?
Absolutely baffling decision by Brian and Roland.

We played with one up front last season yes, but we also played with two wingers in a 4-1-4-1 who contributed a lot of goals and assists. This season we have no width, Bolton tries his best to get forward but Golbourne will get a nose bleed if he gets too far over the halfway line. There are ways of playing with one striker that are very effective and there are ways of playing with one striker that are completely ineffective.

We are heading towards relegation. IMO we have nothing to be optimistic about while Ratcliffes love child is in charge.
Diabolical appointment

Keep Ricketts we go down and we’ll go down with a whimper. Today exposed him as a complete novice no shape no tactics and no passion. Why Whalley continues taking every set piece is beyond everyone but Ricketts. I’ve never felt so dis interested in the team for many years and even though I m a ST holder can’t see me going to any more games, I bet I’m not the only one. So come on Roland do the right thing and please dismiss Ricketts he’s clearly worse than Askey and how you and BC thought he was the right appointment god only knows. So come on ACT now.

That was as bad as I have seen us play today. Why oh why did we play 3 in midfield against their 5!! Beggars belief

Well, I gave my season ticket to my lad last 4 games as it's been so dire. Came home tonight and said " don't ever do that again". Can't give it away for free now!

With 14 games left, there's a chance we can get out of it. But Ricketts MUST go. He hasn't got a clue.

I think its todays result that makes me realise that town will go down.
A complete lottery as to a starting XI with the same silly 3-5-2 formation.

Bored ****ing s**tless at the game today, Ricketts is no better than Askey unfortunately, he could go on to be worse. How long do we have to watch this awful, narrow, defensive, long ball s**te?

The formation soon turned to 5-3-2 unfortunately, Bolton didn’t have much success going forward and Golbourne didn’t even venture out of his own half, so I’m guessing he is definitely no wing back.

I'm someone who is cautious by nature, likes stability, has patience, likes people to be given a chance and hates the 'instant success' mentality of the modern day football fan
But I would happily see a second sacking this season.

The law of football averages dictate that Ricketts' job will be under scrutiny. Great FA Cup run... 1 League win in 12...
Be very surprised to see him leave before the end of the season.
Us across the border. We're content. Second in the League....
We're glad Ricketts went. It might be one big big blessing. Overdue goodluck.
Whem you live close to the border. Experience the banter between the two sets of supporters. I couldn't help humming to myself...
Sammy The Snake..
Sammy The Snake... (louder)
1 win in a dozen!
