After only managing a draw against fellow struggles Bristol town have a home game, with no midweek game and extra training planned let us hope town start to turn the season around. after four successive loses Wimbeldon won in the week closing the gap on town.
Docherty fitness is not known yet but is improving after suffering double vision from a ball in the face at Bristol (if not available and Edwards suspended who would you have in his place?)
you would hope Williams retains his place ,will Waterfall continue to be on the bench or is it Saddlers turn?
i hope town continue to keep the ball on the ground they need to improve the supply to Ferjiri and improve communication with each other.we have conceeded a number of goals in the last ten minutes something town need to improve on.
out of the last five games Burton have won one ,drawn three and lost one and sit at twelfth place with forty one points.we face Peterborough after this game and on paper this is the one that gives us a better chance of getting some points.

I have some observations
Master Campbell hasn't come to sit on the bench
Hitting long balls to Mr O is a pointless exercise
I am unconvinced by this diamond thingy that people keep talking about
Mr Whalley is a winger - simply as
We need to keep the football on the grass whenever possible
3-5-2 i believe is our best formation

So are you effectively suggesting we don't play Whalley as he doesn't fit in a 3-5-2
For me, I would go with a 4-3-3 (or 4-5-1 depending on your point of view) with a front three of Campbell, Okenabirhie and Whalley

I totally agree with all of your observations. Maybe you and I should pick the team !!!!!! BUT...…………. We have to fit Whalley in as he is our most dangerous attacker. Could he play a roaming role just behind Feji do you think ?? Hazard (the best player in the Prem on his day) seems to play that type of game at Chelsea and he was originally a winger.

He must feel more dangerous there..

Walsall losing to Wimbledon last night puts our fate back in our own hands.
Win our game in hand and we'll be above Wimbledon, Bradford, Rochdale and Walsall, whatever the others do.
Bristol Rovers, Gillingham and Oxford have of course played the same number of games as us, and haven't as yet played their games in hand.
As others have said on here, I can see our last game of the season against Walsall having great significance for both clubs.

We're right in the relegation fight alright.
Maybe our fans need to stop being so disappointed we're now utter t*** compared to last season, and suck it up and actually get behind them or we'll be disappointed in league two which is even worse.

We have had many seasons when we have been 'utter t***' compared to last season. But agreed need to get behind the team.

This season just feels so like 2003 so far, like 2003 we had some good players going forward but just so slow (and probably unfit) at the back and also good in the cups but then suddenly turn crap in the league, hopefully in 2019 the lack of pace at the back has been rectified with the addition of Ro-Shaun...

town are 23rd on the form table so can hardly do any worse but the risk is we dont improve and stay stuck in a relegation place. so let us hope we can get a long overdue win as nothing less will do if we dont wont the gap to widen , as we face Peterborough next.

There's no way a club of our size with the ground, training facilities and bank balance should be bouncing between the 3rd and 4th tier, but it's what Roland likes to do. We should be established in the 3rd tier by now. The club is horribly mismanaged.
If we go down again (Which is highly likely) i think the attendances will be seriously affected this time round as there's simply no exucse for getting it this badly wrong after last season. To clarify, i didn't expect promotion or to win the league or anything daft, but 10th - 14th should have been easy enough.

Whalley is our best player and needs to be playing on the wing!
Come on lads, this is a must win game!

Docherty is a doubt for Saturday so who will the play in his place? He didn’t startlast week, so no replacement required. Just makes room for Gillead or someone else on the bench

Spot on, a club like Blackpool with all the problems they’ve been having are comfortably in the top half at the moment... what’s our excuse? Still think it’s down to poor choice of managers so far...

i dont wont to hear any more excuses , we need town to turn up, press all over the park play till the final whistle, stop the silly mistakes, have more variation going forward and keep it on the ground .

Its 100% the problem of two mangers who have not been at the races in terms of league 1. Ricketts has some time to turn that around, but go another 5 games without a win and we will likely be doomed and he will likely be elsewhere next season... Big old game.

We've spent a lot of money this season on players. It's not like the managers haven't been backed. Last season heroics had no positive effect on this season. All the quality loan players we had went back. Our captain joined our rival and arguably our two best players forced a move days before deadline day. To expect us to replace all them players and for it to click again was being optimistic. This squad has massively underachived this season. Most would have taken 10-14 and called it a successful season. If we can get out of this relegation scrap then with the players we have signed up for next season it's something to build on. Some people just like to moan.
