I have 2 adults and 2 12-18 st’s,I took the option of the extra tickets by adding 1 child as my sons friend(who does go to a few ),wanted to sit with him and his dad can’t take time off that day,so who took up the offer my 4 tickets could of potentially made it possible for me to purchase 16 tickets which I think is out of order

Do what I've done. Get as many as you possibly can then flog them to Dingle fans at over inflated prices .selling like hot cakes! Win win situation.

I take the clubs policy to heart; it's only ever about the money not the loyal supporters

I won’t be attending a home game or away game this season disappointed with the greed showed by the club what about the fans who rather just pay per game missing out !!! Season ticket holders getting extra tickets to flog on to day trippers and wolves fans it’s utterly wrong the club thrive on greed ! How long has the Queing up for tickets been going on for people missing first ten minutes of matches they can’t even sort that out it’s been going on for years, the club just needs fresh ideas but will carry on as it is under this ownership.

Sad really, but hey ho each to his own. Let us hope that there's no trouble in the home ends due to Wolves fans acquiring tickets from so called Town fans.

I am a season ticket holder and have bought no extra tickets. As a season ticket holder you are guaranteed your seat and this is privilege enough for me. I do think the club are not very good at handling games that are likely to sell out. It will be interesting to see how many tickets will be left on Sunday.

As a former season ticket holder, between the ground opening to the 16/17 season (unfortunately moved to mid wales so it put a stop to having a season ticket. I did try it the last season, but missed to many games), I have no issue with the policy the club has taken. These are fans who give their money up front, to watch what is often poor football, and deserve to be rewarded when a tie like this comes about. I get to maybe half the games I used to, so will fall into the loyalty points category. But if they are all gone by then, so be it. Season ticket holders deserve a perk in my opinion. I still hold hope I’ll get a ticket, because as is often the case with a bigger game, everyone who wants/deserves a ticket gets one. If not, so be it. Plenty of games left to watch the town this season UTT

For the first season in 10 years, I have not bought a season ticket this season. I, along with my wife, have been to every home match this season including various cup matches covering every cup competition we have been in. I hope to get two tickets on my loyalty points record, hopefully. If not STFC can kiss my hairy arse goodbye, because I will not be going to support them again, ever.

Dunna worry mon, I'm sure you'll be fine. I expect you have plenty of points to ensure you'll be sound. I hope so anyway. It seems like the initial frenzy is dying down now.

I've been to almost every home match apart from three or four and been to six away matches.
I'm in the same boat as 'Haughmond', if I don't get a ticket, then I'll stick to just doing away matches and STFC can do one as far as I'm concerned.

I would imagine most ‘extra tickets’ have been handed to Salop supporting friends who also quality in the ‘loyalty points’ category which opens on Monday. It’s sheer panicky nonsense that season ticket holders Shropshire-wide have been selling their spares onto Wolves fans. Some will if it’s their best mate, yeah, but hardly enough to warrant this stupid assumption going about.
I would think every single person with points who wants a ticket, will get one. Anyone that wants to come for the first time this season, well it’s their own fault.

What is it with this club that f***s everything up. The only point in having a loyalty point system is if or when a game like this pops up ! What we are going to have now is plastic Wolves fans kicking off instead of fans who go to "alot" of home and away games. There will probably be trouble and they'll blame the fans. I'll be emailing that j**k t**t later.....

No, the club haven’t handled this very well, but it’s not the clubs fault you didn’t buy a season ticket. There’s a finance option if you can’t pay in one lump sum. Season ticket holders were obviously going to get first refusal, and then you’ll be next in line with 10+ loyalty points. What did you expect the ticketing arrangements to be? ‘Tickets will be available to purchase for season ticket holders and Haughmond from B&A from Tuesday 15th to Sunday 20th’.

I haven't a clue how many loyalty points I've got, but imagine it won't be many as due to the rigmarole of getting tickets/parking for home games I attend more away games than home.
I really can't be doing with all the hassle of getting a ticket especially when the club are handing them out like sweets to season ticket holders.
I think this initiative will lose the club more fans than it gains to be honest.

The club have posted an article with Brian Caldwell explaining the decision. BC still defends the decision and says loyal supporters will get tickets based on what has been sold so far. Still don't understand it makes no sense to me.

There you go,. Extracted from clubs website. Still don't understand the decision Brian
“In recent seasons we have always allowed our season ticket holders the opportunity for games such as these to be able to purchase an additional ticket.
“For me its forms part of the benefit of committing to a season ticket, which supporters commit financially to the club from well before the next seasons fixtures have been confirmed.
“I hope that the season ticket holders in the main will use these extra tickets for fellow Town fans and family members. What they need to remember is every ticket sold is linked back to their supporter’s number and account
“For the Wolves match we have given them the opportunity to purchase up to an additional two child tickets. At a time when we are pushing the U12 free season tickets and match tickets to trying to encourage more younger fans I feel this hopefully helps them encourage more young fans to come along to see a bigger game such as this and become fans for the future.

It's just Wolves. Not Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, or Man City.
There will be plenty go around for those with enough points.
