Incredible cock up by the club. There’s going to be as many Wolves fans/randomers who’ve been gifted tickets in the home end as genuine fans!
I was in the 1-9 points section but once I saw the seats available I didn’t bother and I’m not hugely fussed about going, but I feel for people who are genuine fans who are missing out because of this four tickets per person scheme.
The club will have a full stadium, but they won’t have a full stadium of regular fans, not regular Shrewsbury fans anyway, congrats on another ticketing disaster.

Is it worth having a pinned thread on here of b&a members wanting tickets, then any member who has spares can sort them out?

There is going to be a lot of disappointed genuine fans. Don't understand the club's ticket policy for this game.

Fob off from the club:
"The remaining 25% of Season Ticket holders who hadn’t purchased yet (of which we have 3500+) were still eligible to purchase tickets over the last 2 days also so I’m assuming a number of those bought their allotted allocation too."

Anyone know how to be put on the “waiting list”?

Thing is it is the people who wanted tickets today with points that the club will want at the next home game. I normally back the club on most things but this time its got it wrong and I'm one of the lucky ones.

They do say that the season ticket is your only way of guaranteeing your seat for all games... If we were as successful as people want us to be then we’d be selling out most games and inevitably that means some people left disappointed. Awful post.
The club cannot shy away from the fact they allowed season ticket holders to purchase 4x tickets. The Manchester United ticketing seemed fine, don't recall too many posts of disapointment then, so why change it?
Hope there are Wolves fans in the home end and trouble breaks out if it means the club actually learn for once.
Speaking of awful posts, that really is a poor comment to make - and I know you're the second person to do so. I appreciate the frustrations of some but there's no excuse for hoping there's trouble.

I have sympathy for those who have missed out, having gone to Salford, Sc***horpe and Stoke at home, if any. That would be very harsh and unfair.
But come on, we got 4,000 v Salford when fans couldn’t be arsed.
Don’t come crying now you want a ticket and can’t get one, if you have only turned up cos it’s Wolves.
If the sob stories get any worse we’ll have someone claiming they’re owed a ticket cos they went to a reserve game in 1974. I mean, pass me the violin.
And before the cry babies start again, I didn’t go to Sc***horpe and I’m not going to the Wolves game

Capacity 9875 less 1,796 available away seats (Wolves allocated 1591) 8079 available seats? Can take off another 150. We lost 1 row for Safe Standing

I was gobsmacked today at 10.30 when just about to leave on a 60 mile round trip to get 2 tickets, I managed to get through to the club to be told not to bother. Unfortunately the system has let down the likes of me who attend around 15 to 20 games a season home and away as I prefer to pay cash on the day at the back of the stand rather than wait in a slow queue in the rain to get a point on my card (of which I have about 5). Same goes for away games I like to pay cash on the day. So my loyalty for seeing all of the cup games and a fair few league games counts for nothing because I don't find the phone/online/ticket office experience suits me. Could someone post Mr Caldwells email address on here please? First time ever I have been unable to get a ticket in 40 years, it can't just be me !!!! Get the point you live miles away, but feel free to offer a solution, rather than just whinge... How do you propose your loyalty gets acknowledged by STFC? How the **** can they possibly know you’ve gone to all these away games? Any suggestions for a fairer system than loyalty points?

I am sre someone will correct me if Im wrong but in the good old Gay Meadow days there were no loyalty points and for big cup games once season ticket holders had been given first refusal for big cup game tickets it was then a good old free for all lining up from the ground over the English Bridge and up Wyle Cop with lots of banter and complaints about Secretary Mal Starkey. He really used to take some stick. Great days.

Not a free for all... even non ST holders had Membership cards (certainly for at least the last 10 years at the Meadow as I recall)

We will all get a ticket, a lot panicking and moaning when it's near enough the same system as we used for Chelsea and United. We all got in and even if there's a few Wolves in the safe standing it won't be a shock. We've had away fans in there all season. Oh and I've got mine this post was way off the mark. near enough the same system used for man united ? That was one each , this was 4 for ST holder’s. And by the looks , a lot of fans with a lot of loyalty points have missed out .

Any suggestions for a fairer system than loyalty points? if they made it one ticket per reference number 99% of people who had 1 plus loyalty points wouldnof had one . They even made it so people with 1 or more loyalty points could bring another and a child !! I mean seriously what the **** . Brian Caldwell , Wycherley **** off out of this club , it is rotten !! Thought a lot of Roland when he did the right thing and ****ed askey off . also thought a lot of caldwelluntil he started lying and just became a yes man . A lot of promises - we’ll sort this , we’ll do that . We want championship football, we’ve sorted the wolves game out as fairly as we can - absolute b******s. I’ve got my ticket , but can’t help but spare a thought for every other person that hasn’t and has loyalty points . The worst of it is I genuinely believe the club don’t think they’ve done anything wrong . Rotten!!! To the core .

Anyone waiting for half time being two nil down and the "oh I'm glad I didn't get a ticket now" brigade. You're all going to be so desperate for tickets then.

I can’t remember if we’ve had the SP meeting re ticketing or whether it was scheduled for the Stoke replay night. Anyway can I seriously suggest that the allocation of these tickets is added to the agenda.

Fob off from the club: "The remaining 25% of Season Ticket holders who hadn’t purchased yet (of which we have 3500+) were still eligible to purchase tickets over the last 2 days also so I’m assuming a number of those bought their allotted allocation too." I didn't realise that out of 3,000 tickets left, once the 300 (10) loyalty points gang went into the pot all of a sudden ST holders could take nearly 2,000 tickets. When I got my tickets at 8:50 there was barely 200 left. Can someone explain how exactly that maths stacks up because I feel really sorry for those fans who couldn't get a ticket so early when the club gave the impression that there were loads left by posting false figures.

Me and my boys went to over 15 games last season. This season, despite family circumstances meaning we couldn't go in August, November and December, we still have 5 points each. No tickets for us, lots of tears over tea tonight. A right royal f*@# up by the club. Thanks a bunch

Yes the same system that worked for every big game in the pas You mean loyalty points? The ones you just complained you don’t get? If you read my post you will see that I do have loyalty points and have had membership/fan card for as long as they have existed. Every season I always make sure I put a few points on my account but normally prefer to pay cash as it suits me. This has secured me the opportunity to get tickets for all of the glory games with no trouble whatsoever. So it is the club that seems to have moved the goal posts on this one, not me or a couple of thousand others by the sound of it.
