Woah let’s calm down shall we. 133 years of history, sure we’ve come back from worse then 2-0 to Stoke! Great result nonetheless.

Will go down in history no doubt, but still think 1965 v Carlisle 4th round 2nd replay winning 4-3 Will take some beating, even tho brilliant effort Salop, enjoy it, then get back to league reality , really pleased for them tonight.

There was a mad game at Carlisle in Mellon's League 2 promotion season where Town went into added time 0-1 down and won 2-1. I think Demetriou scored both?

Didn't we beat Plymouth maybe when we was at the Gay Meadow and we had 10 men?

Didn't we beat Plymouth maybe when we was at the Gay Meadow and we had 10 men? Yeah, that was the first one that came to my mind. A goal and a man down, won 3-1. I think it was January time and Plymouth were top having only lost once away at the time. Also Bury in 94 on the way to winning the league, 2 down at half time to win 3-2.

We were doing the double on Plymouth that season having also won the away game with only 10 men too I think I’m right in thinking. ”10 men, we only need 10 men” we chanted from the Riverside at the travelling away fans. Didn’t stop them winning the league / promotion though.

I went to Leyton Orient 1 year and we were 2-0 down and also down to 10 men. Somehow we came back and won the game 3-2.

Yes I was at Leyton Orient for that. Didn’t Lee Steele come on and score?

Chelsea away 82-83? 1 down with minutes left then 2 long rangers from McNally and Cross did the bizz Remember it well. At 1-1 I was screaming”get the ball by the corner flag to waste time” only to see it crossed into the box and get the winner in injury time having been e for 89 mins. Big mental on the then crumbling Stamford Bridge terraces (those that hadn’t been closed off as dangerous) by the couple of hundred Town fans, and a “warm reception” by a few Chelsea faithful outside.

Bury away some years back was a good one... Was that the game in Fred Davies' promotion season? Where Town were on a long unbeaten run, went a couple of goals down but still won?

Yes the Chelsea faithful were a bit ungrateful back in the 80s. Especially when their team had just snatched defeat from the jaws of victory to a small town club like Shrewsbury. 😁

Awful 1sr half booed off by some at half time. My bro sent me a text saying 500/1 for a town win.80/1 for a draw. Told.him to save his money.!!
Great feeling travelling home. Need to get some belief from this and stick at 3-5 -2 . Haynes excels shown by his thrust into the box to win the penalty and Boltons show for the 1st. Soooooo happy for a change!!

Yes I was at Leyton Orient for that. Didn’t Lee Steele come on and score? I had it in my head that a Town player got a hat trick that day, and perhaps it was Steele. I think Carl Griffiths may have been in the Orient side too.

Think we also scored two late goals against Tranmere at home in that same season to win 2-1, think it was Demetriou again and Mangan...

Sheffield Wednesday in the 4th round of the cup back in 2016. 2-1 down in the 86th min then Whaley equalises and grimmer wins it in the 97th min. That was a good comeback.
