Feel sorry for Newport and Oldham, having beaten Premier League sides then get rewarded with trips to Middlesbrough and Doncaster for their efforts!
As for ourselves, no point getting too excited about Round 4 until we have the small matter of trying to see Stoke off at their own ground, we’ve beaten a few Championship teams on their own patch in recent years but it’s still going to be bloody tough.

I was watching the Wolves v Liverpool game and remembered the game away at Wolves in 1979. First really big 'end' that i'd been in with all of the Town fans, and then getting back to the coaches to find a few with 'extra' air conditioning. And thought wouldn't it be great if we got them again...
One great memory of a great season.

I remember the air borne dustbin lids well as we left the ground.

But I guess if Newport and Oldham have another good day, there's always the chance of progressing to the next round. This may well not have been the case if a dream draw had come now.

5 mins left to go, Wolves give away a penalty and none of their players hounding the ref. Can’t really see that happening today could you?

tickets acquired by neighbour from a friend who was a Wolves gateman - in the home end!!!! My uncle from (Wolverhampton) got me and my dad tickets in the Northbank (Home end) I was 14 and It was the first big ground i'd ever been to. I was amazed seeing all the town fans in the Southbank there looked so many. I gave a small clap when Wolves scored just to be safe but when the penalty went in I looked round and saw town fans everywhere and I pulled my scarf out and just went crazy. As it happened I think the North bank was the safest place to be that day.

what might have been
and yet here we are again
should have beat stoke, been £156,000 better off home capacity game v wolves and possibly a tv bonus
and Burton play Man City tonight, Burton started that run with a game we handed them on a plate
