Can we start to get rid of a few players too? Thinking loft for a start Hendrie seems to be wanted by Grimsby. Morris is of interest to Luton and other Clubs. Gnahoua is on loan to Fylde until halfway through January. They might want to keep him until end of season. I guess Loft and Kennedy will need to be paid off if we want rid. Coleman and perhaps Emmanuel to go back to parent Clubs? No idea what we can do with Jones! Still got over 2 years on his contract. Very strange signing by PH. Incorrect. Jones signed a 2 and a half year deal just under 12 months ago. This means he has a year and a half left.

But Cheltenham don't want to keep him.

Here's hoping to goals from attacking midfielder role at top of the diamond Does anyone remember him scoring with his head more than his feet?

Roland looks ten years younger in the picture, assume it's recent. Both look very pleased. Amazing there wasn't a shirt ready for DE to wear/hold. No thinks it's from last December when this happened
Same shirt etc

Cool, another CM. Could probably do a better job up front than anyone else in the side tbh. If he actually manages to not injured himself doing his boots up.

Had medical Saturday so you would think all good and ready to go. Maybe start as a sub on Saturday not having had much match time lately. You would think that a lot of League one clubs will be asking the question, how did they manage that. A great boost for the club and in particular the manager who knows him so well.

This must mean Morris is off again. It all sounds very romantic, but if we don't gamble on a lower league or championship forward on loan it's going to feel like a long long time to Walsall at home.....

Really pleased with this signing. The club feels like it needs a bit of a lift as the Coyne-Ramsay interim/new manager optimism faded all too soon.
Hopefully, his lack of recent games will be a help, not a hindrance.

What an absolute legend. A man of his word.
In the days football has gone all Paul Hurst, he is a true Dave Edwards.

Good news, but a proven centre forward must be the next announcement. We cant keep shopping at Poundland, that's why we need a replay at Stoke!

Cymru am byth! That's 4 welsh leaders. Just need Owain Glyndwr now and we've got a nap hand. Mind you, he's got previous in Clun, so I'm not sure how popular he'd be down that neck of the woods.

Just had a quick look at the Wrexham fust team squad. Including loans in, they have 38 players. 6 of these are welsh, 32 are English!
Do they run out to, "There'll Always Be An England"?

I’m very happy about this. Just concerned we’ve given him a two and a half year contract when he turns 33 soon. I’m sure he’ll be our highest earner too. He may be one of the highest earners here, but he's taken a massive paycut coming back to Salop. Fair play to the lad!

If he's fit enough, he could come straight in for the suspended Norburn in the Stoke replay as he took no part at Old Trafford. We need a bit of nous further forward than Grant.

Great to see him back, but he hasn't played any football since May 2018 so we shouldn't expect too much too soon. He may be fit in terms of being over his injury but he's probably a long way off being match fit right now.

Excellent news all round, we really need to get a few out the door though now. Can't imagine there could be many better midfield trios in this league than Grant, Edwards and Docherty.
Also, he'd fill the 'trained at club' quota in the match day squad meaning we aren't obliged to name Sears as a sub every week. Possibly means Sears can go out on loan and we can have another attacking option on the bench.

This is a genuine wow signing.
We all know what we will get with Dave Edwards, but with added experience and higher level quality.
His recent injury record is a concern, because he's no good to us on the treatment table.
Be interesting to see where he fits in. Tip of the diamond, or as part of a midfield 3??

Mild enthusiasm for this one but a feel good signing for the club no doubt.
On one hand you’ve got a proven midfield goalscorer from leagues above & one that played in a team making the Euro semi finals not all that long ago & managed 35 Championship appearances just last season. On the other hand you’ve got someone that is nowhere near an awful Reading team & a player that’s turning 33 with a pretty poor injury record and reputation for not being the most technically gifted central midfielder either side of goals he’s scored. He always divided the Wolves fan base from what I’ve read.
Still, I’m excited to see if he’s still capable of the well timed run into the box and finish & to match Laurent (who is awful in the final third) he only needs to show some energy between boxes & composure when the ball falls his way.
Could be great or one big anti climax. He’ll smash League Two if we go down though!

I dont think we should be expecting much more than waterfall manages as far as goals are concerned
