Perhaps it's too much to ask of all the teams from 4th to 7th to win their games in hand? That could knock Wrexham down to a lowly 8th place! No, they'd still be 7th. And the team that's 8th, Gateshead, is too far back with 62 points from 38 games. But at least if Wrexham don't finish in the top 3 they'll have an extra play off game to foul up. I didn't do my maths properly If they want promotion they may well have to do it the hard way.

Trouble is that Solihull Moors also lost and Salford and Harrogate only drew. They're doing an excellent doing of messing it up on their own, their chances of a top three finish are now looking quite slim. Red Passion is hilarious this evening, some are calling for Bryan Hughes head already.

I'm not surprised at our implodement. The facts & figures, especially the lack of goals, speak for themselves. Anyway. We're used to it now.... I shall leave the collection of fanzines and programmes outside your Club Shop at the end of the season.
Well well well? What about YOU then? In a relegation battle for sure. You won 5 out of 6 under Coyne....and then SACKED him! Hilarious! And then brought in 'Mr Eerm'...Sam 'The Snake' Ricketts! 2 managers in one season at Shrewsbury without League experience! At least it'll be exciting for you.

I give up, you're very special.

Lettuce have a look at The National League table......Interesting reading.......Shall we pretend they're boxers in their last 5 fights?
Leyton Orient............Juan 4 lost Juan...very decent, Juan 4 on the bounce
Solihull Moors...........Juan 3 lost Too.... Acceptable
Wrexham Strollers.. ..Juan 2 lost three... (Including a scrappy win over the bottom of the league)..Very worrying..
Salford s**tty............Juan 4 drawn Juan.. Exceptional form from this contender.
AFC Fylde.................Juan 3 lost Juan Drawn Juan....Dark horses with a bags of money owner looking for a former league club scalp.
Mmmmm.....

Well well well!
They're all out tonight. It's the Blue & Amber Shrewsbury fans tension release thread. All that tension building up. Ready to explode! Some of you are raging! Climbing up the walls. Tut tut tut! So near, and yet so far last season. High hopes this season. Big big hopes. After last season..I'll wager many of you couldn't envisage a relegation battle? I thought so. You brought in Askey. Unexperienced in League football. Perhaps he needed time? Perhaps two seasons at least at that new level? What did you expect? Askey doing a 'Dynamo' and walking across the water under English Bridge? Perhaps Askey did get it right? Coyne managed an excellent record with the same staff? 5 out of (drumroll and fanfare) 6 League WINS! Then....you SACKED him! What for? (Big massive Wrexham shrug of shoulders)... What for? Hilarious! You then brought in another unexperienced League manager? The rest is history...
As for the tension relief. Breathing and stretching excercises therapy is perhaps in order for you Salopians? At the Müller factory, on the farm, anywhere. Press -ups against tractor tyres, milking machines etc
The League-Two trapdoor is well and truly creaking for Shrowsbury

You won it 6 times. The Minnows won it a record 23 times. Entered the same FL competitions. The records tell a story. Just throw in our European record for good measure. They show Mickey Thomas Wrexham v Arsenal on FA Cup Match Of The Day for a reason. The Notorious Minnows....Everyone's heard of us. European games is what you need. We had years of them.

Steady up, owd lad, you seem a bit tense for some reason.
Yes, it's true our reserves/youth team have won the Welsh Cup 6 times, but of course we haven't entered it very often. On the other hand, we have our equivalent to the Welsh Cup, but with much more history, The Shropshire Senior Cup, which we have won a record 67 times.

Massive night for the minnows of the kick and rush National League. Wrexham have blown their chance of automatic promotion by losing 3 of the last 4. Tonight they can only watch and wait as the teams around them try to take their chance. Leyton Orient have a tough tie at home to AFC Fylde. It's a lose lose for Wrexham though, because if Orient win, they are as good as promoted, but if Fylde win, they are right behind the North Wales scousers with games in hand. To add to the concern of Wrexham, the giants of Solihull Moors can take a very handy lead in second place.

If the scores stay like this, Wrexham will need specs to see Orient and Solihull because they'll be that far in front.

Just need Salford to get a result at Harrogate tomorrow night and Wrexham will be out of the top three, but if it goes the other way and Harrogate win they will then also be breathing down Wrexham's neck. Fylde will also still have two games in hand over Wrexham.
