Welcome back Bryn, hopefully to stay So much for Ricketts "nothing imminent" comment tonight. Good news though and he's eligible to play against Stoke, but not against Port Vale.

Ainsworth quoted as saying that they haven't got the money to keep any of the loan signings any longer !...another club spending more than they can afford. Welcome back Bryn, you should never have been loaned out in the first place...thanks for nothing Askey

Mr Morris is not the answer to our problems. Only got a game last season due to Ogogo injury. Too slow and ponderous

The local press in Cheltenham have suggested that Sam Jones will be returning to Shrewsbury. The local press in Grimsby say a decision on Luke Hendrie is expected very soon.

Think we need to get rid of a few before anymore arrive. I can think of at least 5 that can go.

Bolton is better at defending whilst Emmanuel is better at attacking- as simple as that. And on that better I’d go with the better defender. I do like Emmanuel as he offers a lot going forward but is error prone

I have been banging on for a while that both Beckles and Bolton are dodgy. One has now been replaced, time for the other one now possibly?

Whoever we sign this month needs to be aware of and prepared for the immediate challenge of avoiding relegation. I'm slightly concerned that publicly at least no-one from Ricketts to Sadler to Caldwell is mentioning the immediate target of avoiding relegation. It's as if no one at the club have noticed we are only 3 points clear. Teams around us will be strengthen and scrambling around for players to give themselves a better chance of avoiding relegation. Sc***horpe have signed 3 already.
So though I'm in favour of looking for players to improve for next season we need players in now who'll ensure we're in league 1 next season.

Let's hope something is done to bring in a LB and a striker at least. Plus another GK if Coleman is being sent back. Personally, I'd like another CH as well. Sadler is getting on, Waterfall isn't everyone's cup of tea, I'm far from convinced that Beckles is the answer, and Kennedy just seems to have been a wasted signing. 2 or 3 more loan players could be brought in.

Not quite sure on why Grant went off at half time against Fleetwood, but maybe Morris being recalled from his loan s cover for him as a defensive midfielder. We don't really have much cover in that position other than Loft who I've seen very little of to judge him on whether he can play that role.
Think its good Rickets is looking at the players we have out on loan at least its shows he's giving everyone a chance to show what they can do

It's how the club are selling themselves to potential targets. Is it we want to improve and be top half and pushing play offs next season or is it first you need to ensure we stay up! Otherwise it's top half of league 2!
