Happy with signings last two days. Wonât know much until theyâve played a few games mind, but on paper looks promising. Glad weâve got our work done early. That will be it now surely? Lewis Cox gave impression there might be more. More? I would be surprised myself now that Payne has returned.

Lewis Cox said he expects minimum ten January signings by 11pm.
I make that as 9? RCC, Edwards, Walker, Vincelot, Golbourne, Williams, Mitchell, Payne, Smith.

Here we go. A very highly rated lad! Still think we are short of a winger, would it be asking too much to bring one in? If we do stick with a 3-5-2, where does Whalley fit in??

so now we have Ferjiri , Holloway Smith Payne ,Campbell and Angol Campbell seems a young exciting prospect, you would imagine Angol will be sent out on loan.

Methinks Mr Angol is looking for a pay off prior to joining another Club as a free agent. All the recent evidence suggests that he doesn't want to be here and that the Club would like him to move on.

A bit surprised and disappointed that a Championship club hasn't come in and taken James Collins from Luton. He is bound to be on a high for Saturdays game and out to prove a point.

Still no movement on Mo Eisa or Sam Surridge, which is surprising, but Sunderland have been linked with both today, they seem to want to sign up everyone!

Best signing by a League 1 club today? There are a few candidates I think.
Jacob Butterfield (Derby to Bradford), Graham Burke (Preston to Gillingham) and James Vaughan (Wigan to Portsmouth) all look very good bits of business by those clubs.

Wouldn't mind that Sam surridge coming on loan from Bournemouth, just gone back there from oldham----banged the goals in for them I agree but competition looks stiff with Portsmouth amongst others said to be interested. As well as Dave Edwards, Reading also transfer listed Marc McNulty today. They paid a big fee to Coventry for him last summer so that would likely be a problem for us but he could be a possibility for a loan deal.

Well what an interesting couple of days! We've certainly bolstered the squad. Time will tell, but I think we have made some excellent signings. We all have our fictitious list of players we would like to bring in, but looks like we have done some good business. The squad depth suddenly looks much better. A good mix aswell, promising youngsters, coupled with sensible experience.
Now it's up to Sam & Co to work out how to fit everyone in!
