Bad news for Southend. Sunderland will have to win at Roots Hall on Saturday or risk losing 4th place to Charlton, which would mean they'd lose the advantage of playing the 1st leg of their play off semis away. i hope plymouth escape the drop but after getting hammered against Accrington and losing the last five games i doubt they will

Yes Congrats to Luton and Barnsley, well done you guys, even to them it's going to be a struggle to stay up tho, unless they spend serious money, No doubt the underachievers are Deffo Sunderland, with their set up they should have been nailed on certainty's for promotion, now they have to go through all the trauma again, if both they and Pompey get to the final play off, guaranteed sell out I suppose, be a laugh tho if Peterboro gate crash the party.

I really cant believe the Police get involved in which end the pens are taken...bloody safety reasons. Could you imagine Lee Bowyer if the had said they have to be taken at the Donny end....Cheating t**ts

Brannigan went off injured for Oxford. He always seems to score against us so let’s hope he’s out for Saturday.

Barnsley now 5 points clear of Salop with two games in hand Never mind Play offs have never been a realistic objective - certainly after us drawing a blank in those 3 winnable games over the Xmas period. Let's just get to 50 points as soon as possible and play out the rest of the season in the hope of remaining in mid table, which after all can be regarded as progress. Then with only 6 of the existing squad still under contract for next season (plus an extra year option for Leahy and Udoh), and all loanees returning to their parent clubs, we start again. I'm not counting O'Brien, as I'm assuming that one way or another he'll be offloaded.

Realistic points target by the end of the season?
Some tough games to come but 60-63 should be achievable?

Settling for 50 points and going on our jollies before the season ends isn't the one, we need to push to stay top half, it'll do us wonders in the summer window.

I certainly don't want to see us switch off once we are safe from relegation, I hope Steve keeps pushing until the last game of the season.

"if we can accumulate that promotion form of two points a game" - would result in 77 points? good enough for 6th most seasons although not the last one (7th placed Plymouth had 80 points last season). Think it's unlikely but if they do get 2 points per game it should make for some good games to watch.

Anyone suggesting 50 points and go from there has worse ambitions than the owner.
We have 18 games left, I'd suggest 68 should be the minimum target.

Not quite as bad as those who are happy when someone like Wycombe beat Forest Green We are 100% safe from relegation this season. Let’s set our sights as high as possible

We aren’t going up or down so what’s the point , supporting Town becomes an exercise in complete boredom . Why spend your hard earned money on watching Town play when the result means bugger all. Hopefully the players will now recognise that their efforts are to absolutely no avail and so not bother in training or playing and so drop us into a situation where we may get relegated . Makes things a bit more interesting . Personally I’d play RP and HB every game , they deserve some recognition .
