The North Koreans. Do me a favour. They struggle to lob a missile 100 km into the Sea of Japan. They might nuke me here, or their mortal enemies across the DMZ, but no way they can send a missile 9000 km to the UK, and no way do they care enough about the UK to bother. I don't think they give the UK the slightest thought.

The Conservative party's cutting of conventional capability suggests it is in favour of unilateral disarmament
And it is quite sensible to have your own policy on defence that isn't dependant on the policies of other countries.
