Great some people speak sense on here ! Obviously happened, the club have been unfair with the ticketing of this fixture already. Be great if the club were fair with the real fans, something clearly not adding up. Here for the long haul and travel through thick and thin spending majority of my hard earned cash on supporting them yet do not get treated well!! STFC bowing down to the prawn sandwich brigade, shock ! Ah well as long as they are happy. £ £ £ £ £ £ £ £ x Oh, right. Me and my wife are Sovereign members so that means we are not real fans. How does that work? We are normal everyday working people who decide to spend a large chunk of our hard earned on watching and supporting our club in the best way possible we can. We have to make sacrifices to do so but it is the best thing we have ever done. Now that doesn't make us better supporters than you but neither does it mean that we are any less supporters than you. The old cliché "prawn sandwich " is laughable but I take offence at being called a gobs**** simply by being a member of a club. If you are that bothered about the "advantages" of anything corporate why don't you become a member. Simples. And in any case I understand that there are maybe 250 Sovereign members so even if we all had an extra ticket(which we have not) then your sums don't work out anyway. Don't worry what he says mate, sounds like it's one hell of a chip he's carrying!!

That shows why we have sold so many tickets already!

Don't forget sponsors will get a chunk and other organisations who support and work closely with the club . if there is a discrepancy don't worry about it and jog on to your next wind up

If you've been to 9 games in pretty much the first half of the season, and didnt consider the 6 match flexi-ticket offer which gives you cheaper tickets AND a 10 loyalty point bonus then the sympathy drains away somewhat. Not everyone has the disposable income in one go, or knows in advance that they won't have something else on / work / family stuff. I love it how people make so many assumptions on B&A. Well without wishing to sound like a vicar, if someone cant afford to pay £108 in any one month then they shouldnt be wasting £40 per month watching potentially dire League 1 football. And the rest is irrelevant, each ticket is booked individually so you can do it the day before if you want (or on the day even? I dont know, I've never left it that late)

In May we had sold 2700 season tickets so I would expect nearer 3k by the start of the season. Aprox 400 corporate tickets at a guess leave about 1100 with 20 points or above a perfectly realistic number.

At a guess, 1 per player on both sides, 1 per youth team player for us, we surely have to give united's hierarchy some padded seats too, plus a ton of journo's from the written press, perhaps they're all being counted as purchased tickets? Still seems too high.. I've heard 5 per player which does seem a lot and Chelsea was 10 per player. Can anybody confirm or deny this? I know a chap who gets tickets off players most home games as he supplies a product to players and manager, he told me he's got 9 tickets to give /sell to whoever he wants

Looking at the seating plan Blocks 7,9,10,11,12,13,16,18,19 all showing good availability.
No surprise the blocks that are always rammed for home game i.e. blocks 1 and 2 have sold out already.

Dusters and syrup of figs, for every time MM asks them to dust themselves down and go again.

If someone with 9 loyalty points which is equivalent of 9 home league matches can't get a ticket then there is something seriously wrong If you've been to 9 games in pretty much the first half of the season, and didnt consider the 6 match flexi-ticket offer which gives you cheaper tickets AND a 10 loyalty point bonus then the sympathy drains away somewhat. You get 10 loyalty points for buying a flexi ticket? I definitely didn't...

Not sure whether you think I have been a little hard on them or whether it's a wind up,Pilch.Anyway here's a little imaginary tale which might help... The year is now 2036 and Shrewsbury have progressed to the Premier League following a huge investment by their new American owners. They have not been out of the top four in the last ten years and have won a very impressive amount of silverware. You and I were both born in Accrington and still live on the outskirts of the town, working for a local firm.We have both been Salop supporters ever since they won the Premiership for the first time ten years ago.Neither of us have ever been to the Starbucks Meadow but we do know that Shrewsbury is somewhere in Wales. Most of our work colleagues have been Accrington supporters since they were little kids and follow them regularly home and away through thick and thin even though they have not fared as well as Salo p and have for the most part played in league 2 where they now are. They have regularly invited us to go along with them to watch their team but we have always declined as we are not really interested in lower league football and they're never going to win anything anyway. We're far happier to support our team on TV from the comfort of our armchairs and we do our bit by wearing our relica shirts down the pub,in the supermarket and on holiday. One season the mighty Salop are drawn away to Accrington in the 5th round of the FA Cup and it's only about 15 minutes away on the bus so we decide to go and watch our team in the flesh for the very first time.We have one small problem ,however,we don't know exactly where the Accrington ground is but we do know that it is very small and it will be nigh impossible to get tickets because we don't have season tickets nor those loyalty point things they are all talking about. We ask a few of our workmates to help us out but they seem strangely reluctant to help .A few nights later the solution drops in our laps at the pub when in walks Flash Harry(always seems to be able to get his hands on tickets for popular events if you are prepared to pay enough).Sorted. Finally, match day arrives and we set out for the ground after looking up the directions on Google.Unfortunately we get a bit lost between the bus stop and the ground and arrive 15 minutes late but no problem as the score is still 0-0.As the match goes on we start to get a bit bored but we stick with it and are duly rewarded in the 89th minute when our new £150M striker signed from Inter Milan dives to the floor in the opposing penalty area and referee Deadman signals a penalty.Andy Mangan Junior steps up to the spot and scores at which point we both celebrate wildly much to the annoyance of the home diehards sat around us. On the way home we both agree that it made a change to actually watch the match at the ground but won't repeat the experience as its too much hassle getting there and pretty uncomfortable on those terraces in the wind and rain.Best watch the lads on Match of the Day in future like we normally do. THE END Oh b****r,is that the time? Just realised I forgot to iron my Leicester shirt ready for MOTD tomorrow! Anyway back to reality now Pilch.Have a good day out tomorrow, enjoy the match and let's hope we come home with 3 points. i gave up at line 2

this is football, keeping by a few tickets and selling extras to certain members is what makes the world go round
anyone who thinks it doesn't is deluded
fact is if you've got a season ticket or go to all the home games and at least a handful of away then you don't have a problem
anyone else who is panicking then its your own fault
we drew a non leaguer in the 2nd round and that alone gives you hope of a big 3rd round tie who thought i'd better get some points in the bag and order a half season ticket ?
we beat cardiff on the sunday, did anyone rush down monday to get a half season ticket ?
a 4th round tie at home, if we win this theres a big chance of a nice home draw better get that half season ticket now, did you ?
when we beat man u you'll be in the same boat again
do something about it earlier next time

Two kids later, time and money in short supply, I have to wait until 5+ on Tuesday. Not my fault, not the clubs fault. Of course if I miss out I will be gutted but at least I can see it on TV and hope I have better luck for the replay (or quarter final!)

i know rules are rules so fair enough that certain amounts of loyalty points are required for tickets. it's just a shame that,as my mate's have got more loyalty points than me that i've got virtually no chance of sitting with them. so i think it's tv down the local for me rather than having to sit alone in maybe a different stand. i've no issue with the club about this and will still be at some home games, sitting with my mate's in relative comfort. hoping for a draw though.

Why is the club not open regarding how many tickets are sold/left on a daily basis?

Why is the club not open regarding how many tickets are sold/left on a daily basis? Why should they? Maybe the day before/morning of a change in eligibility but not everyday.

Does anyone know what time the Ticketmaster site gets updated today and tomorrow for the next tier of loyalty point holders to buy tickets?

Does anyone know what time the Ticketmaster site gets updated today and tomorrow for the next tier of loyalty point holders to buy tickets? Same problem this end - 11 loyalty points in my account but ticketmaster still telling me I dont have enough points and STFC not answering their phone until 14:00. Come on Town, sort it out. I'd rather not phone, thereby saving everyone time and effort but if you cant sort the website out I'll have to. What a nonsence
