In my opinion he was magnificent tonight.

Agreed. He ran about and kicked the ball rather splendidly tonight.
Also good to see that Cardiff's tactics of ploughing the pitch to try to spoil our silky passing game came to naught...

When Grando came on as well, I thought, "go on lads, keep pumping those high balls into the box...."

Given MOM by S4C.
Gerrard and Black also got a lot of praise.

Given MOM by S4C. Gerrard and Black also got a lot of praise. The commentators clearly knew what they were on about then. To a non Welsh-speaker, it sounded like two slightly tipsy, angry men in some dingy pub. All irate spluttering and exasperated moaning. Whitbread was clearly MOTM tonight though, and Gerrard and Black were also excellent. Well done to all of them.

I really enjoyed the commentary. It was certainly a lot more insightful than games with Michael Owen or Niall Quinn!
OT: Whitbread was superb, a real leader. Incredibly after losing Collins, Lawrence and Goldson, we've still got a few options as captain as long as keep Gerrard and WB.

Just goes to show. Although you may be quite good at football doesn't follow you will be o.k commenting on it . The opposite in my view cos he is s**te .

They were irate and exasperated and constantly complaining about the lack of passion from Cardiff. There were excellent performances today, Whitbread, Black, Gerrard and Halstead especially.

I believe Whitbread has already attracted interest from a number of Clubs.
With him performing like that in front of the cameras I fear we'll be hard pressed to keep him.

I thought the commentary was ok.
They were critical of the Cardiff tactics for sure but they did give us credit and where very complimentary about the way we bounced back after our 7-1 drubbing last week.

Well, we need to make him an offer then, whilst the heads are up and there's smiles on faces.
