"Exiles flocking to Britannia - Fanatical Shrewsbury fans from across the globe are jetting thousands of miles back to Britain for Town's crunch match - with one braving a 13-hour journey from Texas to watch his heroes . . ." Wonder who that could be ?

When has Marsden ever missed a chance to cash in? Oh I do hope he writes us one of his love poems - could we be that lucky?!

Did you know that Paul Marsden is an anagram of "spineless, chinless nob, who'd sleep with his secretary if it got him votes"? Of course that' s based on Manadarin Chinese script, but I have it on the authority of Yew Long Streekyp**s Empee that it is factual. ;D

Message for 'Old Git'.........if youv'e got nothing better to contribute to the Board, can I suggest you keep away from it? Clearly you are truely a misinformed miopic, bigoted 'old git'! Paul marsden has supported STFC all along, and if you are looking for free riders on STFC then point the finger at Nutting, Colonel Blimp Ritchie and Albie Fox instead of our MP. He had the courage to stick his head over the wall, and indeed change his political allegiances. The fact is that if you are a Socialist in this country, now you are more likely to be a Liberal Democrat. So get off his case, keep quite if you have nothing constructive to say...and turn your energies to supporting the lads!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Some do not necessarily agree that crossing the floor to another party and not having the guts to stand down from his seat and fight an election on a different mandate is attractive

Message for Llanelian - myopic? Possibly. Bigoted? Not sure you understand what that word means - even with the benefit of the doubt, no. Paul Marsden? Got into power on the 1st Labour Landslide - the one that promised "Education x 3" and "Our skies are not for sale" - amongst other things. I wrote personally to him asking why he voted with the govenrment on key issues in both areas , despite massive opposition both on the back benches and from the relevant parts of industry - both times he sent me a pre-issued statement from the relevant Sec of State - rather than account for his actions. Then - lo and behold, rather than support his party, he defects - after claiming he was having a nervous breakdown. Something of a betrayal to those who voted him in? Maybe even Bigotry? Then, he betrays his wife - well publicised media fiasco and has to weasel his way out of an accounting fraud.
You may think this noble and well intentioned, even behaviour becoming an elected member of Parliament? I do not, and I don't thank him for using the ups and downs of STFC as (another) vehicle to get his name in media.
As a voter who would vote for Lib Dems, I am immensely frustrated that my conscience won't allow me to do so - on account of Paul Marsden.

The fact is that if you are a Socialist in this country, now you are more likely to be a Liberal Democrat. I know you're pretty clued up on the old local politics Llanelian, which makes that statement so funny and utterly false. John Stuart Mill - socialist? Ha ha! Kennedy, Campbell and Opik - Socialist? Ha ha! Nice try.
