Very odd that we have this two years running - Robinson and now Woods. Both figured in pre-season games were on the bench in initial games and looked good, then suddenly they have personal issues and they go.

Lots of people move jobs for family reasons. many people move jobs, then wish they were at their old place. Only difference is you don't get a press statement.

Last year we sponsored Aaron Wildig and he played about half a game, this year Martin Woods (for obvious reasons with his surname)and now he is off! We were going to sponsor Ryan but I felt certain he would be off so went for the other Woods!

Indeed. To lose one Woods in two days could be considered unfortunate ...... to lose two is downright careless!!! (To paraphrase Oscar Wilde!)

Bit of a farce to be honest, embarrassing.

funny if they got the Woods mixed up. I'll wait for confirmation from Ross County and their picture of the Ginger pirlo in a Ross County shirt!

Bit of a farce to be honest, embarrassing. It's really not is it? It is to non supporting Town fans, doesn't look good we ain't won yet and players jetting back off to former clubs already.
Clearly we know differently but to an outsider it doesn't look too good.

If we know better then no need to be embarrassed by anything :)

To be fair it probably does happen at other clubs - we just don't know about it.

Can't of been the weather anyhow!

Reality of football, players move on to better themselves, clubs higher up the pyramid sign the 'better' players who have potential to do become even better.
Just for us it's happened altogether when we've not had this number of players leave in a short period.
But something we can be proud of as a club with 4 players developed from the youth setup - moving on and we get some money for them.
We go again, re-invest in the club, squad and younger players. Ok, ideally we would of got the money sooner, but probably would of been less had we sold in the summer.

I had a feeling it would all go wrong for him when he is his first photos for the club in a flatcap.
