Is this really the best he can do??
(from last night's SS):
"Shrews fans get travel tip Thousands of Shrewsbury Town fans are being urged to travel by coach rather than by car to the Conference play-off finals at Stoke to avoid being caught up in traffic chaos.
Police today said there was only limited parking near the 28,000-seater Britannia Stadium and they were warning fans to expect long delays leaving the ground on Sunday.
It comes as football club bosses revealed that there were now only around 200 to 300 tickets for the promotion showdown up for grabs. Fans have snapped up more than 13,000 in a week.
Superintendent Mick Jones, who will be commanding the policing operation, said fans travelling by coach would arrive early and avoid delays leaving the Stoke City ground.
He said: "Britannia Stadium is a fantastic venue for this sort of fixture, however, we need the support from the fans to help everyone enjoy the event.
There is only a limited amount of space near to the ground for car parking."
For 13000 people , well that's - 260 coaches from all over the country (does he think we all live in Shrewsbury?), that's not going to happen - he knows there are 50 coaches going so that leaves over 10,000 going by car (some by train) - and his advice is- "There is only a limited amount of space near to the ground for car parking."
WELL DO SOMTHING ABOUT IT THEN TRAFFIC COMMANDER!

It's good to see Mick Moans has got another job so quickly after being dumped by Telford.
Apparently tho' it wasn't his first choice, which was the job of a toilet cleaner. His interview was going really well until they asked him what he had been doing previously. When he replied that he had been manager of TUFC they promptly ended the interview saying he was way under qualified!! ;D

Surely he is not saying that there will be 10,000 cars - wont most people be sharing?

stoke is cr@p for parking. end of story. crap stadium, crap location on top of a hill.. bring your coats for when the wind blows... and its shocking for trying to depart from too.
There is no where to park unless you have a pass or get into one of the near by car parks. So I agree with his get there early plea.

After being there yesterday gotta agree - very exposed and nice as it is when in andlooks its so so in the wrong place - should have been built at Trtentham Vale or Trentham Lakes.
