If you want to try a ‘good luck’ toast for Shrewsbury Town in advance of their playoff final on Sunday, and put some money in the club coffers at the same time, there are now a number of pubs selling Blue and Amber Nectar
Brewers Wood’s of Wistanstow are offering to pay Shrewsbury Town 5p for every pint sold.
The following pubs are among those taking it:
Shrewsbury - Golden Cross, Loggerheads, Old Hand and Diamond Inn, the Prince of Wales and Cromwells; the Strettons: Green Dragon, Church Stretton and District Club, and the Stretton Hall Hotel; Welsh Frankton: the Narrowboat; Marton: the Lowfield Inn; Oswestry: the Black Horse; Ludlow: Bull Ring Tavern and Wheatsheaf; Bishop’s Castle: Boars Head. Knighton: George and Dragon.

It's not bad at all faginy, a bit pokey from time to time but they seem to have a few ales from around the county. A defo 'Real Ale' pub if you know what I mean Cheers for the info lads, those pubs are a bit far from my neck of the woods.

The golden Cross is on Princess street, But can also be got to by a small alley that runs up from high street. Basically look for a small alley between Rackhams and the Wheatsheaf. (but not the one by Baileys) The pub used to be a real classic, very rarely had more than about 2 people in on a saturday night until about 10.30 when we used to turn up and take over, was famous for warm flat lager in handled glasses. Since Colin left for the sunny climes of Portugal, it has been bought by the old management team from Cromwells who wanted to actually own there own pub.(including the chef) The food is now excelent but not cheap, Sort of restaurant quality but in a pub atmosphere. On the beer front the trusty abbot ale has been replaced by a good selection of quality brews, including many local tipples. Unfortunetly though on the lager front they only have Fosters or Arsewipe (Draught Bud). I have one of the barstools in my bedroom, from the last night of Colins reign, when he gave us a free bar for the night! If you're out there Colin I'm sorry!

"Ye Old Trip to Jerusalem" is the one in nottingham, and very nice it is too! front of the pub is an ancient building, back of the pub is caves dug into the cliff on which Nottingham castle stands! We''ll make it our pre match meeting point before Notts County in October
