Just been asked if my son will be a mascot for Sunday's game- he has been on the mascot list for a while and I had given it up for this season to be honest. As if I wasnt excited enough already??!!

Dad may be allowed on the pitch yes ;D- it's all organised by Stoke so the format may be different to usual- Zach is under strict orders not to try and tackle Luke before the game starts

Make sure when he runs out to make his way over towards Block 31 should get a good pic of him as i'm in row 7, JP's daughter Hannah is in row 3 or 4 so she get a good snap of him too.

Oh no Andrew- how could you publically challenge my fitness on the Board and now Jamo, the vets manager has read the thread- so just to put the record straight- my hamstring is fully recovered and I am available for the vets pre-season tour matches against Church Stretton Bowling Club, Much Wenlock Evergreens and Harmerhill WI

Hi Paul That's fantastic news. My son, Tom was mascot against Woking....it's something he will not forget, come to think of it neither will I.
I was lucky enough to get tickets in directors box and exec lounge before, during and after.
Best bit for Tom was Luke coming upstairs afterwards to have his photo taken with him.........Luke had loads of time for him and was really the 'top man'
Good luck
Make sure he comes over to Block 31....we're in row 5

Thanks for the good luck comments- As I said I am not sure what the format is going to be yet as Stoke are organising things- we are sat near the back of Block 31. Am sure Zach will take it all in his stride, it's his Dad Im worried about

I very often read the message boards - but havent joined up as yet. I did wonder if you would be the same P Williams that wrote to me! I will let you know as soon as I have full details for Sunday - Have a great day out - and from my experience Dad's are usually bigger kids than kids!!! I remember when my son was first mascot down the meadow, many years ago - we had Wayne Clarke on loan and we beat Birmingham 4 -1.
