But I don't fancy going to Preston with chants about the Taliban, Passports and Shrewsbury having no mosques either.
Agree with this, i'm frankly embarrassed at times by our fans singing:
1. Town full of Pak*s. 2. No surrender to the IRA. 3. Let him die 4. Shes a slag. 5. Show us your passport. Amongst others of course,
Lets not forget the foul mouthed embarrassment that some of our loyal fans dished out to an obviously disabled supporter on the platform after the Walsall game (away lost 3-1). Our little angel shouted and I quote "hit the spas**c with a f**king cricket bat" several times.........
We do not have a leg to stand on people, some of our "banter" is racist and the lowest level of abuse possible at the most vulnerable of people...but its ok because its just banter right ? So until we clean up our own act lets not pretend to be upset when others do it.
I deduce that every club has its fair share of morons, and Shrewsbury Town are up there with the worst of them.

Wow! Are all Salop fans 'nobodies' to you then, or just this lad whose father was being abused while getting medical attention? Who knows how anyone would react in a similar situation? It has nothing to do with being a Salop fan. It has to do with behaving appropriately regardless of the club you are supporting. Doing whatever he did to whoevers fans isn't helping anyone, most of all his Dad. True, but reasoned thinking isn't always possible for people involved in such incidents.

I don't think our fans would sing let him die to someone that is ill enough to be on a stretcher. there is some really disrespectful chants about but then there are the ones that are totally wrong for example United fans singing about hillsborough and wishing someone that you have never met or that has done nothing towards you to die is in that category imo.

It's a problem for society, not a set of supporters.
