His co-defendant, Clayton McDonald, claims the trial has wrecked his professional career even though he was acquitted.
He was last heard of playing for Worcester City.

Bring back hanging , that would save even more money By that logic IF Evans' appeal works and he is acquitted then a "innocent" person would be dead? Witch hunts and the like are never a good thing. I will await to see the appeal verdict before condemning him so vehemently. If he is found innocent would people welcome him here though if we needed a striker?

Bring back hanging , that would save even more money In my opinion we should bring back hanging. I am a believer that there is no smoke without fire.

Well, Barnett and Collins would clearly have no fear of being replaced by Ched Evans if czarcasm was our manager, that's for sure. The Guildford 4, Birmingham 6, Bridgwater 3 and many others would have had no chance with his philosophy. They'd all have been strung up. Perhaps he might like to view this site:- www.innocent.org.uk

polarizes views this one!! So I suggest that we should sit on the fence until we hear what the new evidence is. The CCRC believe that it could have helped his case had it been heard and that is why they have ordered the review. That means that at the very least it is significant. It doesn't mean that he is innocent. But it could lead to him being so judged. I think we should wait and see. But it's hard to find anything edifying in the whole world of nightclubs, overpaid footballers, drink, drugs and groupies besotted with the cult of celebrity, with all parties eager to decamp to the nearest hotel with their one-night, drunken trophies.

Thought I had better state on here that, despite my previous post, I am in no way an advocate of capital punishment .
