Well 2 seasons ago Hereford put in a stand and if they can do it the cost can't be that high surely? But Hereford are now bankrupt!

Wouldn't they need council permission to go over the current capacity? (9,875) or is the capacity set at 10,000 even though there are 9875 seats crrently? in other words would they be limited to a max of 125 seats?

How many did they have in for Elton John? I know there was seating on the pitch and the North Stand was closed off, but I bet that was over 10,000 so has a president has been set for a larger crowd to be managed...?

The Club will unlikely pay full whack for the seats as they can offer the incentive of media exposure and a big banner with the companies logo on it. Which side will they do? The South to West and South to East could both be done and aren't they designed for possible permanent seats if required?

As an example only from one company there may be cheaper out there - www.mobile-grandstands.co.uk/ - I think the one with the red seats costs £14 per seat to hire for 4 days, holds 150 x 4 = 600 odd and would easily fit 1 in each corner maybe even two as they dont look exactly huge plus they got a roof. £9 profit on each seat x 600 is £5100 profit if you can squeeze 2 in per corner thats 10.2k. Either way it should make considerable money rather than loose it.

Ok, then take into account the 50% split of the gate with Chelsea, and then extra policing costs and associated paperwork. also extra stewarding needed.
just having the seats is not the only expense

Yet providing seats for someone who might have missed out could be beneficial in the long run. It could also used as a test to see how it would work if we ever get into a position to where extension of the ground becomes necessary.

bound to be extra insurance premium to pay for temporary seating. I would imagine that any public liability cover would be included in the price. You wouldn't hire a marquee without cover for it, so seating should be the same.

Will depend on how well uptake of tickets is I imagine. Probably don't take too long to install if required.

Away seats total is close to 1800 I think. Potential for a few seats to be lost to a camera behind the goal as well? Completely bizarre that the stadium set up is such that we keep giving away £6-7k every time we have one of these games. What exactly do they think that blocks 19 and 20 can do to each other from 30 yards apart? Wherever they are sat they can still walk up the the barriers and 'give it large' so why not sell all the seats or we may as well just rip them out..................
