Average. Won most headers and tackles but distribution was poor at times.

Same as Tuesday, if he didnt have Conner there to bail him out their would have been an uproar.

when somebody puts discuss after a 2 word opening makes me feel like to OP wants everyone to slag him off then join in without having the balls to start it himself!!

The poor(ish) run has coincided with his return to the team.
Not sure if this is linked but as said above his distribution is poor, he seems to panic and rush when on the ball.
Early days yet though, as the games go on MM will get a better idea of his best team/formation.

I would prefer NKP / Goldson in the middle.

It's definitely true that our form dived after his return.
That's not entirely cause and effect, but it's still clearly true.

He wasn't the best today . But how Ellis has a thread in his name and vernon hasn't is a mystery

I think we miss Demetriuo's attacking threat when he's not playing and I would say that has more to do with our poor form.

2 clean sheets in 2 games is good isn't it? Dont think the defence has been the problem in the last 2 games

But didn't his return mean a change in formation? Perhaps it's not actually him as a player but the formation they play when he is in the team? Discuss?

Yeah exactly. 'something has gone wrong' - and then they look at him and he's the scapegoat.

Think Ellis is marginally better than NKP in the air and has helped see an improvement in our defending from set pieces which was suspect in the earlier games. Distribution is inconsistent granted but to say it is appalling is very harsh.
Defensively we have been pretty good and have to say NKP has been superb at LB IMO.

Don't think individual players are to blame, just that the 3-5-2 formation of earlier in the season seemed to give us more options than the current formation

His displays are 100% commitment. He wins most aerial duels and tacking is good. His distribution is the only thing that let's him down I think .

I disagree bob, A few times recently he has put an early challenge in which the attacker has skipped past and had space to run into.

He won every aerial challenge and looked solid. Point the finger at some of his distribution by all means, but remember to point the same finger at Connor.

His displays are 100% commitment. He wins most aerial duels and tacking is good. His distribution is the only thing that let's him down I think . On Tuesday he was hugely at fault by getting too tight on his opponent and being easily turned and stranded by lack of pace. Today he produced the most inept pass of the match when under no pressure--square across the back exposing the whole defence when intercepted. Luckily someone bailed him out.
