Last game of the season when Cardiff promoted from league 2 was absolute chaos! Cardiff fans threatening everyone, police little better, when we complained due to continual bombardment by coins they just laughed and threatened to throw town fans out... Stewards and police and ref had no control with 100's of Cardiff fans on the pitch for the last 15 mins ... so wonderballs if you looking for the worst fans have got to say Cardiff to a man are scum Yes remember that day very well indeed, frightening stuff. I also remember the Grange End wall collapsing and people being carried out injured.

Still remember Mickey Brown 1 on 1 with their keeper and just soooo glad he fluffed it as it would have turned really ugly had he scored then.
(It was actually last away game - Northampton at home was the last one on the season, as was Cardiff fans trashing up Sc***horpe on the last day of the season. Sc***horpe were so appreciative that when we celebrated winning the same division the following year up there that we were far far better behaved)

We went on the train for that one, won't be doing that again in a hurry. Had to walk what felt like 3 miles back through the streets to get back to Cardiff Central station after the match, I was almost glad we lost as I don't think we would of made it out alive otherwise. Cardiff at home in Littlewoods cup in 85ish was the worst football violence I've ever seen, Cardiff smashed the shops around the ground to bits, complete animals.

That's all well and good, but those days are well behind us.
I'm taking about the Blackpool fans' behaviour I saw first hand at Wembley four years ago.

How many times have you heard people on here use expressions like "get out alive" and actually mean it? NAsty, nasty stuff.
If those days are "well behind" you then why do you have 121 football banning orders against your hooligans, the highest in the entire football pyramid?
What about the fighting between your lot and Swansea?

I was at the game but saw no trouble at all, certainly there was nothing inside the ground, and nothing round Wembley Way either before or after the game. This was in contrast to two years later when West Ham fans were in the Blackpool end with some of them very intimidating indeed. I find it strange that you said nothing at the time or indeed since, until now that is. Please divulge what you saw, where you saw it and why no mention until now?

This seems to be an opportune moment to remind everyone of an important point: Cardiff are s**t! And an important sentiment: Death to the lowlife scum red reptiles! I'm sure Matron would agree

Managed to field a team for a friendly against Penrith, winning 4-0.
Needed five trialists to make a team.......

Hearing some of the things that oysten and Riga have said sounds exactly like the shambles of last season here at STFC. The excuses of "we are talking to players and offers have been made" blah blah.
I do feel for Blackpool fans. Especially if they have to endure the rubbish we did last season

Even Michael Chopra on Twitter has been casting doubt on this season , moaning about the pitch and having to wash your own kit at home and clean your boots. Oh no, not having to do his own washing?!

Glad to get out of there without injury.

'Just horrible fans in general'.
So no evidence then.
You support one of the most notorious clubs in the UK and you have the temerity to blast Blackpool fans?
Some clubs and supporters deserve guys like Vincent Tan.

What's worse than fan's that turn up too watch Cardiff?
Ones who to gain some kind of kudos by claiming too support them due to it Club's reputation,do not go too watch them and trolls other Club's fans forum attempting to sound like a knowledgeable hardcore Fan.
He gets shown up not too know as much as he think's here.Is that why he's not on Cardiff City's forum? As he'd get pulled up pretty quickly on any statements and shown to be full off s**t quicker than he does here.

I think it was Boxing Day late 90s when we went to Cardiff and lost 3 - 0. Before we got off the coach, the police came on and told us we must hurry back to the coach after the game, so they could get us out. They told us quite bluntly, that if we were late, the buses would go without us and they couldn't guarantee our safety.
So after the game, we hightailed it back to the coach. I haven't moved that fast since my honeymoon.

Looking back over 4 decades or so there are a number of games that I attended that when I reflect now really were scary experiences, Cardiff home and away in the 80s immediately spring to mind as well as 2 very scary trips away to Port Vale... If we were to draw Cardiff at home in the cup I would certainly think twice about going....

To take it one point at a time: 1/ "Just horrible fans in general." - Generalisation something you are good at - unacceptable. You are talking like you know the fanbase well. I think not
2/ "I don't know how you missed the trouble on the street before and after the match." - Because there wasn't any trouble on the streets we were on and there were plenty of mixed fans. We were round Wembley Way for a while and absolutely nothing. Again I challenge you why you never mentioned this before when we were talking about the match on here?
3/ "This is the club who got ahead of themselves when they got promoted. They got too arrogant. Holloway being the face of it." - Really?? Please give examples of their arrogance. In particular Ian Holloway as you quote him.
4/ "So no, I have no sympathy for the w****rs." - Another throw away generalisation comment. Not the first time you have displayed real anger and hatred to a person or group of people in your posts on here. I really suggest you have a long stand in front of that mirror Ned and take a good long hard look. All this hatred isn't good for you and your quality of posts on here do I am afraid lend you open to criticism and ridicule.

Arguing with Ned is useless, he is unable to value other opinions or have a reasoned debate. I suggest you let him carry on thinking what he wants and do something worth while with your time like watching paint dry.

Have you noticed that since Matt Williams went from Blackpool to us they appear to be in a state of complete meltdown and we appear to have been completely pulled back together?
Coincidence?

He was "Club secretary" up there but I am told he was basically the Chief Executive (they didn't have one) without the title. Is it a coincidence that many things have improved at the club since his arrival a short while ago?

1) I'm stating a FACT. They were the same when they came to Cardiff for the league fixture in 2010. 2) Just because there was no trouble on the streets you were on, doesn't mean you can say there wasn't any at all. Good job Cardiff were on our guard. 3) Oh come on, you can't deny that. Holloway's press conferences and seeing him crack jokes. He's a barsteward who nerds to be taken down a peg or two. Him and Millwall are perfect for each other. Blackpool players didn't go to commiserate our players from where I was sitting either. In our other defeats at Wembley against Portsmouth and Liverpool, the opposition's sportsmanship was much better. I'm not angry. I just hate the fact that some people think Cardiff fans are thugs, when these days we're one of the most friendly fanbases. Seeing people have sympathy for Blackpool fans too makes me cringe given the reasons I've explained above. They've had their day in the sun, but unlike Cardiff, they'll never be back there barring a big takeover. Cardiff's last home game is against Blackpool. Feel free to pop down and I'll happily buy you a pint to explain how Cardiff are a much bigger club than Blackpool, as you seem to not have worked that out yet.
