Rumours of them trying to strip Edgar Street of fixtures and fittings That's just a wind up.

Good news for the fans of Hereford. It was obvious from the outset that Agombar and the odious Lonsdale were only there to get their grubby hands on the Edgar Street leases. Good luck to all those involved in setting up a new club, one that the fans can be a part of and proud of.

Just been past ES on my way back from work - Ford fans have formed a picket line to stop anyone from the now ex owners entering/looting and some of the quite thuggish looking players were having thier bags checked by police in case they were stealing fixtures/fittings etc......changing rooms have been trashed too by the players (average age 18).
Bravo to Hereford. Some things go beyond club colours and petty "Banter" - this was a clear case of right vs wrong.

Yes I know we all enjoy a bit of banter and to wind each other up, but at the end of the day I must admit how touched I am at the support we have had from fans far and wide including many Shrewsbury Town supporters. I cannot put into words what this has meant to me. It has been proved to me that there really is a football family and I'm so proud that we and you are part of that. Should anything like this ever happen to STFC (and god I hope it doesn't) I for one will stand shoulder to shoulder with you to fight for what is right. Thanks for the excellent support and best of luck for the season!

Absolutely gutted for you Woody. But at least now you can start again without all the bull541t and with people owning the club that love it - THE FANS!

Am still quite dazed by it all at the moment. If you can listen to this without needing paper hankies, it just about sums is all up. linkNo doubt there will be some twists in the tail to come, but after this report below, I can't see how anyone connected with the club can return Former director of Hereford United, Dave Preedy, has been inside Edgar Street to help West Mercia Police with their enquries into possible damage and missing items. Afterwards Preedy told BN that the inside of the club was more 'trashed than damaged'. "Televisions are missing but they were on hire purchase. "Spirit optics are also missing. "The changing rooms have been trashed but not really damaged. "It's just mess everywhere." Preedy also asked for supporters to keep an eye on Edgar Street. "The police have promised to patrol the area but it is their busiest weekend of the year." Off to the Bull in the Barne now to see if that will clear my head.

A little cosmetic damage can soon be rectified - the damage the idiots "running" the club for the last few months (years??) will take a bit longer.
Chin up, today IS a good day for Hereford football I'm sure

I too would like to thank you all for your support , and i would like to think that this will be the end of the Tommy Trucker and Lonsdale as well, but I cannot see them walking away with nothing. I think that there are going to be more battles to fight with these wide boys before the war is won. There may even come a time when we may have to call on the support of all true football supporters like yourselves to finally end and send these guys back to where they belong. Once again, thank you for your support.

This is tragic for HUFC fans, but perhaps the only way out in the end. I hope the real fans can make a something new. This transcends rivalry, I just hope a bunch of decent people get their club and Saturday afternoons back.

Big party planned at the Victory in Hereford tonight. It'll be one night sort of celebrating, then back down to business.
Still lots of work going on behind the scenes. Most of you know Bulls Banter, but a secret forum was set up and a hell of a lot of work was done on there to expose the crooks, and still is. We haven't finished with Agombar and Lonsdale yet !!

Well i'll be in the barrels later - mines a HPA Seriously though, as said, things like this go beyond just club colours - these guys were out to make a quick buck of a club that had fallen on hard times.

Well it's all gone quiet on Bulls banter....not. The battle for the new club has begun. Lot's of "stirrers" having their say, trying to undermine the Trust/ Consortium offer before anything has been proposed. And now it looks like there are 2 other interested parties !!! Very interesting time ahead. We shall soon find out what sort of council we have and their desire for football at Edgar Street. Oh, and Andy reckons he is going to appeal.

Agreed - noticed that Purdie puts regular updates on bulls news regarding the youth team he runs. Comes across very well.

Hmm. It needs everyone to pull together really for it to work. I'm sure that was what happened at Telford & Chester

98% are pulling together, just one or two that thought things were great under Tommy Trucker and co. Its all down to the council now. Happy New year you lucky Slopies, a toast to meeting again one day in the football league. Cheers.

Thank you guys for genuinely being supportive of us, just think if this was you for example - but I wouldn't wish the last 8 months upon any football club.
There isn't much for the official receiver to sell tbh, tables and chairs and that's the lot really. Trophies and pictures were bought by HUST and they're in safe hands I believe, and we got the boardroom table for free as it was too big to fit through the door.
As for Shedgar Street, there was two leaks in the roof which the council are patching up I believe, but the leases are the next challenge.
Thank you all, and good luck with the rest of your season.

I think most lower league football supporters feel genuine empathy towards clubs that have been screwed over, like yourselves and Chester, because we know that there for the grace of God (or astute businessmen as fans). We don't have a great deal of sympathy for clubs that are constantly pushing themselves into debt just to try to reach the promised land and then going tits up and taking a points deduction, just to start the same process all over again.
Good luck to the fans of Hereford Utd (or whatever the phoenix club ends up being called) and good riddance to cockney spivs that have tried to to steal your club.

Went past Edgar Street yesterday on the way to Newport. It just looked so desolate. All good luck for the future. Perhaps Shrewsbuy could have a 'friendly' pre your first season to hopefully raise a bit of money.
