If a film was made based on this debacle, would it be classed as a Horror Movie, or a Comedy.

Crisis club Hereford United have had their latest winding-up petition adjourned for another 21 days at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. It is the third time the action, brought by former Bulls boss Martin Foyle, has been postponed. It will now be heard on Monday 28 July, 12 days before the scheduled start of the Southern League season. The club will use the next three weeks to arrange a Company Voluntary Arrangement to help clear their debts. Foyle, who left the club in March, is one of several creditors - including players and another former manager Peter Beadle - owed money by the Bulls who must now hope enough of them agree to the CVA in order for the club to survive. Hereford's financial problems have already cost them their place in the Conference Premier, but the club have been accepted into the Southern Premier for 2014-15, with fixtures due to be released on 17 July. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28197143

Guess they will 'survive' till they fail to fulfil their first fixture due to no team and then get expelled from the Southern League as well

It really is amazing what Turner managed to achieve there on the pitch as well as running the club in the proper way.

HMRC added themselves to the winding up petition according to bullsnews.blogspot.co.uk/. HMRC are claiming a six figure sum it seems. As they did with Chester, they'll be combing through the CVA and will challenge it if necessary.

They'll probably get bigger gates than HUFC will get assuming the club can find someone willing to play them at Edgar Street ( ground safety issues being addressed, of course).

As Edgar Street is deemed unsuitable to be used and if HUFC go to the wall, where will an phoenix club play their games? I'd think that within Hereford would be beneficial, but there's always Ludlow Stadium available...

Seems the new owner has plans to redevelop the ground. This from the property consultants
"10,000 SF Out of Town Shop for Rent | Class: A1 Edgar Street, Hereford, HR4 9JU
The property comprises a new 10,000 sq.ft ground floor retail unit, which is to be built as part of a redevelopment of Hereford Football Club. Marketed by Norbury Sansom Ltd"
Can't see any planning application on the council's website. Besides, they hold the leases not the club.

Hereford United Supporters' Trust (HUST) have voted to boycott home games next season. The fans group have chosen to follow the lead set last season by Coventry City fans, who support their team only at away games. And 95% of them voted in favour of protesting against new Bulls owner Tommy Agombar. Hereford's financial problems have already seen them expelled from the Football Conference. "I expected it to be a 'Yes' vote, but not of that magnitude," said HUST vice-chairman Martin Watson. As things stand, although the club have been accepted into the Southern League for the 2014-15 season following their expulsion from the Football Conference, they do not currently have a ground. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28228435

Hereford United have appointed Jon Taylor as the new manager of the troubled Southern League club. It has also been confirmed that Grays Athletic chief executive Joel Nathan is assisting in a voluntary advisory role as the club reorganises after their expulsion from the Football Conference. The Bulls face an uncertain future following their summer takeover. Their Edgar Street home remains closed until further notice as it is still to be granted a safety certificate. And the Hereford United Supporters' Trust this week revealed that 95% of their members have voted to boycott all home games next season, in protest at new owner Tommy Agombar. Hereford are currently understood to be trying to arrange a Company Voluntary Arrangement to help clear their debts. But the Bulls still face a winding-up petition brought by former manager Martin Foyle, which was last week adjourned for a third time until Monday, 28 July, 12 days before the scheduled start of the Southern League season. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28263476

Quite a fiasco. Fancy getting stopped by the police and told to go back home. Not as if it was going to be Millwall vs West Ham !! Anyway, apparently a game will definitely be going ahead against local club Sinkums, again behind closed doors. What are they hiding. Never heard of Sinkums but from what we can gather they aren't the most disciplined team in the world !! And those players that are known have made it clear that they intend to make it an extremely physical game. Should be fun.

Were they stopped by the police because they were trying to prevent trouble? or were the police just helping them out by pointing out that continuing their journey would be pointless because no-one was going to be let in?!

From what I've read, the fans only intended to picket the ground as did some Wrexham fans as a show of support... The police monitor facebook, twitter and websites. It seems that the host club decided to switch the venue to an undisclosed location on Friday but didn't bother to post this on their website and nor did Hereford. Another kick in the groin for the fans.

Graham Turner's agreed to manage a Mayor of Hereford's XI when they play Hereford United's supporter's team in a friendly. The supporter's team has more fixtures arranged than the club!

Club Sent Photocopied Cheques To Southern League
Hereford United sent photocopied cheques to the Southern League to 'prove' they had paid creditors.
Several people, including former staff, claim that they were shown photocopied cheques that had supposedly already been sent out to footballing creditors.
The latest claim comes from Burnley FC's accountant, a Bulls fan, who confirmed that the Southern League held a copy of the cheque claimed to be destined for Turf Moor.
Burnley are understood to be owed money from the loan of Micah Evans at Edgar Street last term. The cheque, like all the others, has failed to arrive and Hereford United have steadfastly refused to answer questions from fans regarding the payments."
Unbelieveable. Sounds like the law could take an interest at this rate.
