On what bass-is do you come to that conclusion? I thought mine was poor, until i read yours. From a man of your int-eel-ct, what a load of pollocks. I don't know if you were "fishing" for a compliment when you "poached" my pollocks reference. Perhaps we have "battered" this thread to death?

perhaps we could all grouper our money together and re-open it? The amount of publicity we are now giving it, it would be hard to gulper the trade we could get from matchdays!

Wouldn't want to run a chippy near the ground - those pikey walsall fans would probably trash the place. Well, suppose it'd be ok next season as we are in L2 with the minnows.

We could soon be reeling the customers in and making a net fortune all the way to the bank, you know the one by the river.

They should approach the financier Darius Guppy for an investment, he may be a shark though.

Where they the sole owners. I smelt trouble brewing months ago, but maybe there is a ray of hope somewhere down the line.

I think the new owner will have to put fried mars bars on the menu for Mr McMelon I think this is a "Red Herring" to get us off track. If we carry on like this the thread will be "packed like sardines" with fish references. Personally I think there is something very "fishy" going on to even start a thread like this. To be honest the thread is starting to make me feel a "bit green around the gills". Surely with all the things that have happened, and are now happening, we should have "bigger fish to fry?" Holy "mackeral"! Another new signing! "SEA" what I mean. That's the problem posting on a forum like this , its like "living in a fish bowl" where everyone gets to "SEA" what your thought "processing" and what you are writing. At this rate of signing players we will "flip" straight back up. It will be like "shooting fish in a barrel". Getting back up. That is the most important thing isn't it? All the rest is "small fry". If we don't come straight back up I think we are in " deep water." I was very disappointed when we were relegated, and thought last season was a "fine kettle of fish", an absolute shambles. I went out to try and " drown" my sorrows, and ended up " drinking like a fish". At the moment I'm as "happy as a clam" with the new manager, and I think we will have a "whale of a time" next season. When I first heard he had been appointed I must admit I thought he would be like a "fish out of water". But I have now "recast" my ideas. As for GT I think he got "off the hook" lightly. I don't want to say too much more about GT, as I think it might open a "can o' worms!" I must admit though at the beginning of the season I swallowed everything he said "hook, line, and sinker". The new manager has renewed my interest and I'm "hooked" on reading about the new signings and plans for the way he wants to play. I just hope he can "reel in" some really good players. Finally, I would like to pass on some important lessons in life that I have learnt from fishing: 1. There is no such thing as too much equipment. 2. When in doubt, exaggerate. ................ 3. Even the best lines get weak after they have been used a few times. 4. Sometimes you really have to squirm to get off the hook. 5. The fishing is always better on the other side of the lake. 6. Good things come to those who wade.

That reminds me "she was only the fishmonger's daughter but she used to lay on the slab and say fillet'' think it was one of Joan River's old jokes.
