I will be in Ye Oldie City of York on the day of the playoff final after a naughty weekend away with the future Mrs Poole. But be assured i will be looking for that well known Yorkshire good will when i do my search for the pub with the best beer and Sky t.v.

Skunkie, there are many pubs in the city that show football, The Northern Wall, Cross Keys, five Lions to name 3, sadly Iwont be there either as I am in Majorca. So any one in the Cala Bona area which visits this site, please come forward and advise any bars which show Sky.

Glasgow, When I was in Prague last, there was a bar called Dogs b******s which was advertising Premiership matches (so it may have Sky or something similar). Didn't go in because the name suggested it was not an authentic Czech place ;D Its on a street called Ostrovni which is a couple of blocks south and west of the National Theatre. (about 10 min walk) www.pragueexperience.com/places.asp?PlaceID=398There's a map on the link too ! Never actually went in, but they may be able to help.

We really need to do something for people who, for whatever reason, can't be there.
I really feel for them because I've had to work Saturdays and Tuesday nights and miss things- like Morecambe.
It must be doubly hard when it's the final. Let's hope everyone can get the game videoed for them
What about arranging some kind of get together and celebration, a week or two afterwards?

Rocky O Reillys has plenty of TV Screens and shows all english footy. On Stepanska off Wenceslas Sq so good location. Food is ok and beer reasonably priced for an Irish Bar! www.rockyoreillys.cz/Have fun. Afterwards try 'Marquis Des Sade' bar on Templova for stupidly cheap budvar and even cheaper cocktails - I recommend the white russians. Having said all that last time i was there was august 2002 and we got evacuated during the floods so prices may have gone up a bit?

I won't be there but at least the early kick-off makes it at a reasonable hour here ;D so I will be listening on-line and no doubt having a trans-pacific chat with Cuyahoga.
