There has been some talk in recent weeks of B&A getting a block of tickets for the final, should we get there.
I've sent an e-mail to Judy Shone this morning enquiring whether this is possible or not. Hopefully it is because I think it would be excellent to get people together who can generate a good atmosphere as opposed to sitting by random people.
Do people agree this is a good idea?
I'm just waiting back from an e-mail from Judy (who I imagine is working very hard at the moment with all the arrangements) but should have an update later.

Ant i was having a think - and a lot of B and A members are going to be bringing family and friends i would guess, so why not pick a stand for the B and A lot and then we can just fill the whole thing - i think you will be serprised - we might need more than a block

I was going to say something similar to Pricey. I think a whole stand is a bit ambitious, but certainly a few hundred if possible. I would like up to 10 if possible with London-based friends who want to come, my brother, mate from work who's been to a few games this season etc
If you can organise this Ant, then well done because it is a brilliant idea...

Ant - probably the easiest would be if a block of say a couple of hundred seats could be reserved. Then B&A users apply in the usual way (I guess season/priority card holders get first stab) but state that they want B&A seats.
That way, we can get to group together, but also adhere to whatever ticketing policy is laid down by the club.

I'm hoping it could be a case of the club putting a block of tickets aside and when people go in to get their's, or order over the phone they could just ask for a ticket 'in the blue and amber block'.
Whether that is practical or not I'm not sure, hopefully Judy will be able to tell us.
I'm sure some of the Salop based b&a users would be able to help as well if needed.

I'm up for this, i think i'll probably be taking a few of my sons friends as well so i would like us to be all in one stand if possible.

Will you be putting a limit on the number people can buy from the allocation? Like pricey says, many people will be bringing family or friends who don't usually go to games. There are still hundreds of fans for whom Wembley was their first Town game, this one could be the same again...
Sorry if I'm asking too many questions before everything is sorted out, it's all just so tantalising. The Football League is 90 minutes away!!!

Good idea Ant, At the moment i am busy ringing round trying to organise a coach to take all the Bridgnorth shrews, So if it is possible to get a block for B+ A then the bridgnorth shrews would require about 30/40

I've just booked two mini buses with Karhire for the regulars. So that's 34 seats please Mr Thomas!

Following on from ChrisH's post re: family & Friends i 'll have a party of 11 tickets to organise, i suppose that if we can give some kind of numbers of how many we require perhaps that will give Ant an idea of what to ask Judy to put to one side ?

I imagine we'd be wanting 5 tickets (Me, dad, Oldgit, Amy and Harry) sounds a good idea in theory, but dont know how easy it will be to implement. A for trying tho' Also what stand would you be thinking as I personnally think that the Main Stand (used to be called the Mckewans stand? SP?!) is better than behind the goals or the attached main stand....

From the posts so far it would sound that a block for a couple of hundred is not going to be enough. 500+ sounds like a minimum requirement. The club should be in favour, the atmosphere at Wembley wasn't good and if we can get this off the ground it would certainly help the team on the day

Ant, how great minds think alike Defo for me but at the risk of "cutting off nose ......." we should be careful how many we ask for so we dont upset other factions over "tickets" for the boys (say max 4 or 5 per B&A member ?).

Think 4 or 5 may be a bit too much, could see a lot of people asking for "spares". 2 or 3 max, if you need more, someone else will have to get them.
I will just be asking for my honest one, or two if me mate's up for joining the choir ;D

It's a difficult one, lots of people bring family to important games like this. If I am only allowed two tickets through the B&A allocation then I'm going to have to book separately.
Radio by the way are apparently saying tickets are already on sale but there has been nothing on the official website. Anyone know anything?

Same here Chris which is why the pick a stand and all go there idea is much much better IMO
But fair play at least we are sorting something

Just thought though, of my eight or 10 I need, two are for mikeinlaspalmas off this board and his girlfriend. So really, I'm asking for less just for me! ;D
Doing careful maths, I need nine, of which two including myself are regular B&A users.
Sure it'll work out somehow. Thanks to Ant again for contacting the club about this...

To be honest my personal view is that, if we could get a block/ 2 blocks/ whatever set a side, the procedure for ticket buying should be no different than the club will do for everyone.
i.e. people with ST/ priority cards etc first then general sale - and if there is a limit on how many tickets can be bought then so be it.

He's in Spain. I said I would try and get tickets for him. Double booking would indeed be silly! Be nice to know how many we're getting. Aldershot site says they are getting 10,000

just me and me dad, i suppose, sounds a great idea.
£20 for an adult ticket though, crikey. By the way, before anyone starts to slaughter the club, i would assume that the conf itself and stoke city have set these prices....
