Anyone seen it?
Loads of ppl at work are raving about it saying it the best US show NOT on British tv, (heard Five US showed 2 seasons).
Never seen it myself but thinking of purchasing the boxsets or maybe trying Season 1 first.
The premise of the show sounds, bit Dexter but darker and more real apparently. Real slow burner but I hate being left behind on shows when ppl go on about them and then playing catch up as Season 5 (supposedly THE best of all) has just started in the US.

seen them all, the best american show i've ever seen. not seen dexter so cant compare. It's very dark, right from the start, i started watching season 1 a year or so back but got thru 2 episodes and didn't bother because i dont think i was in the right mood at the time. In 4 and a half seasons there are quite a few "wow" moments, brilliantly written, well cast and acted. I highly recommend it

Playing catch up as only heard the hype a few months ago. Up to season 3 and hooked.
Some good dark humour and the chemistry between Walt and Jesse provide some great scenes.

Strongly recommended.
I watched the first 2 series on TV and have been waiting for series 3 and 4 to appear. I can't understand how a show this good has not been bought by one of the TV companies, it's not as though we are flooded with great programmes.
It looks like I'll be buying the box sets of series 3/4.

Excellent show - my favorite TV series of recent times. Up there with, in fact better than, The Wire and The Sopranos in my opinion.

Wow, thanks guys, i knew B&A wouldn't let me down, kinda confirmed what I knew to an extent. Start off on Season 1 I think as £50 for Seasons 1-4 on amazon is a bit steep particularly as S1 has only 7 episodes. Can then ask Santa for 2-4

You're in for a treat then, it keeps getting better as it goes on. was reading about it and it looks like season 5 will be the last although the chap that plays walt has said he would do it if asked. season 5 is annoyingly half 2012 and the other half starts in summer 2013

Usual bland generic American crap that gets praised to the high heavens by critics. Don't believe the hype.

In fairness, I can see your point to an extent, bland could be enterpreted as 'dark' i suppose which the show is, much like some of the new genre shows that are coming out of the US. Breaking Bad is one of those shows you need to look a little past it's darkness and give it more than a couple of watches I think. I know quite a few people who don't like Boardwalk Empire for those reasons yet its critically acclaimed and won awards. Personal choice and all that.

its good but....
his expert drug enforcing brother in law has not connected the biggest leads
the initials WW very early on, stolen items recovered from the exact school lab that WW works in (items used for cooking drugs) WW is a genious in chemistry only a few people know Hanks private phone number including WW WW has just come into serious money
even inspecto rclouseau would have cracked this by now ;-)

Just finishing series one of the Breaking Bad spin off 'Better Call Saul' - again a little late to the party though I have seen all of the former. A little lighter in tone but still very good and on a par with it's predecessor.

BCS just gets better and better - the latest series was better than any Breaking Bad season, and you have a villain to come (Lalo Salamanca) who tops Gus Fring, which I wouldn’t have though possible

Easily as good as any of breaking bad. Anyone who didnt stick with BB I'd urge you to try again. The first series was good, the second better and the third outstanding, but series four and five, my goodness, genuinely breathtaking tv right through every single episode.
