Never seen B and A so positive, which sepaks volumes about the most committed classy and effective town performance in years....
so many contenders for the MOM, but for me it was the day James Collins finally won me over... not many strikers we have had over the years could have done the role he did yesterday with such aplomb...
harsh on Richards, Sharpes and Grandison though
Be an intresting vote this one

Yep, feels harsh just to select one but have gone for Grandison who gave a really committed display at right back, before seamlessly moving to centre half and THAT bullet header.
Could easily have picked Collins, Sharps, Richards or Taylor. Haven't rated Regan when I've seen him previously but thought he did a good job in the circumstances too.

Jermaine for me, a great performance topped off with a great goal. Also for making us celebrate more than we ever have at the GM! My voice still hurts now.

Collins gets my vote for an outstanding performance up front on his own for an hour Another game when you could vote for the whole team, you could hardly tell we were a man down

Collins with Grandison a close second. Both outstanding! Matty Richards not far behind them, quality again.

Agree with what everyone is saying , shame to pick MOM as they all played superbly, but Collins was awesome . He was getting onto balls he had no right to win , must have given the lads a great lift when they saw him putting in such a shift. No it sounds funny but sending off galvanised our lads into a great performance whereas Southend probably thought weve won this now. How wrong can you be.

Dont worry, you'll get a chance to be wrong again when jowly old Henry Redknapp learns his fate later on.

I thought Collins played better without a partner, I wonder whether GT will consider a 5 man midfield with Collins as the lone striker in future?
Anyway, I voted for Grandison - a sentimental decision.

i voted sharps not going to win it but he stood out for me, lost count of the times he flung himself in to clear the ball i could easily have given it to collins or grandison but couldn't decide so took the easier option of bottling it

Collins, but with honourable mentions to virtually everyone else, especially Grandison and Richards.

Everyone earned their brownie points but Collins was outstanding. A heroic effort that won us the game- how much better could we be if he can hold up everything we fling forward and bring Richards/DMac/Wright/Taylor into the game for shots?

Richards for me. Superb performance from a player i did'nt rate a few weeks ago. How wrong was i. Ditto. First time I've seen him have any impact (albeit on limited viewings)

Collins for reasons others have stated though Grandison got 10/10 in the Football League paper.
