That makes my morning a bit earlier.
As much as i would love to watch town on ESPN i am going to the game as every time town have been on telly and I've not gone, we've lost.
Not making the same mistake again

If anything this now means I will probably go, as I don't have ESPN and nor do any of the pubs in Stretton!!

Has the Prostar Bar got ESPN?
How about a big screen at the Meadow?

excellent news, and to get £67k for the club.
Hopefully we'll be the first club into the 2nd round, or alternatively......

Wasn't the Blyth Spartans away game the early saturday kick off?!?!
Great news this one although does this mean they expect an upset?

Wasn't the Blyth Spartans away game the early saturday kick off?!?! Great news this one although does this mean they expect an upset? It was, but I think it was more because their floodlights weren't good enough for the TV cameras for the extended highlights. It wasn't live on English TV if I remember correctly, but I think it was broadcast on a foreign channel.

Wasn't the Blyth Spartans away game the early saturday kick off?!?! that was a long day! Yes- it was an early kick off due to the floadlights issue. One of many memories that day was seeing the blyth players in the social club pre match walking around in flip flops!!

"Blue Square Bet Premier team County, currently two places off bottom spot in the division, will be looking to knock out Football League opposition after being paired with League Two play-off hopefuls Shrewsbury."
Shocking article, since when have we been simply hoping for the playoffs.
Will put a few people off going, still possible for a good day out thou. Hopefully the neutrals watching will be disapointed.

The ESPN bosses must of read my posts Never thought in a million years they would pick our tie but fair play to them, thought our only chance was via S4C. Might have to get a few of the lads together for an early p**s up

Great news this, over the moon. £67k is a lot of money at this level will come in handy if we're going to buy someone in January. Was thinking of going, but my mind has been made up now!

Would think they will now have to make it all ticket if 900 away fans is true and could be some dissapointed fans as STH could well snap them up.................

I remember watching the blyth Spartans game via a foreign Internet site from the far east, with (presumably) mandarin commentary. Was a rather strange and disappointing experience!
Chance of an upset with the Newport game although I hope we have a team better prepared to get stuck in and battle than we did at Blyth

With early kick off time, game now on TV, and possibility of trouble ....Roughly what are you expecting as an away attendance? Im going anyway mind as SWFC dont play till Sunday just hoping for a bit of an atmosphere in the away end but fear the above reasons may have killed that.
