I note that the PFA have jumped to Terrys defence.
Guess thats because he pays lots of fees.

From what I have read Terry is saying he was running back from having a spat, then turned and said 'I didn't call you a black c***'. That's what I have got from it all, well that's what I think Terry is saying anyhows...

I know plenty of facts about John Terry and am able to 'personally berate him' as it is widely established that he is a thoroughly nasty individual. He is a thuggish player who attempts to intimidate the likes of Charles N'Zogbia and yet goes missing when pitted against a player with any physical stature. He also has a tendency to cheat by falsely accusing players of diving and routinely hand-balling off the goal line. Added to the accusations of racial slurs, adultery and the quite ridiculous 'Captain Braveheart' reputation he has acquired, I feel justified in labeling him a scumbag. I don't even need to mention that his mother is a thief, his father a drug-dealer and that his brother recently drove a fellow lower-league footballer to suicide. I'm hopeful of a successful career after graduating from University and will be happy to compare annual salaries with you in the near future. I would also love to know more about the mysterious poster known as 'saladsaladsalad' and hope you will offer some personal information about yourself (as you are obviously a fan of intimate detail).

I would also love to know more about the mysterious poster known as 'saladsaladsalad' and hope you will offer some personal information about yourself (as you are obviously a fan of intimate detail). Everything you know about him is second/third hand information and almost totally from tabloids. As an example, the adultery you mention - the NOTW were forced into priinting an apology and admitting the story they printed was not true. As for him not being a great player in your eyes, maybe not so much in recent seasons but he has plenty of accolades (apologies for the italics and cut + pasted stuff, but I feel exuberant). Following Desailly's retirement, new Chelsea manager José Mourinho chose Terry as his club captain, a choice which was vindicated throughout the 2004–05 season as Chelsea won the Premier League title in record-breaking fashion with the best defensive record in Football League history with the most clean sheets and the most points accrued. He was voted Player of the Year by his fellow professionals in England and scored eight goals, including a late winner against Barcelona, in the UEFA Champions League. He was voted the best defender in the Champions League for the season. In September 2005 he was selected as a member of the World XI at the FIFPro awards. The team was chosen by a vote of professional footballers based in 40 countries. Chelsea defended their Premier League title in 2005–06, earning 91 points, and confirming the title with a 3–0 victory against Manchester United.I'm no Chelsea or JT fan in particular but I know I've seen him play very impressively many times and he has previously helped win me fantasy footy comps - you were probably playing with ninja turtles when he was at his peak. I hope you do have a successful career, certainly not guaranteed one despite going to uni these days, I was lucky in that I am old enough to have had a grant back in the day. As for comparing salaries, haven't been a salaried employee for some years, IR35 and all that.
