Makhail Smith looks a good player but we need Kenny Miller in the team or we'll struggle to score. Kenny Miller is a great international player and is paramount Can't believe that you Scots have failed to mention the brilliant Dave Mackay. Only 5'7 or 8, chest like a barrel, midfield general and later on defender, captain of Spurs. Awesome. AND, forget about all the so called hardmen, nobody ****ed with MacKay.

Kenny Miller is a great international player and is paramount I remember not so long ago when Kenny Miller's inclusion in a Scotland starting 11 would provoke a chorus of moans from Scotland fans. A player I remember for his key misses rather than his key goals. A vital player in the current squad simply because Scotland are so devoid of any striking talent at present. I think we can slot Miller in beside other 'greats' such as Graeme Sharp, David Speedie & Gordon Durie.

Gemmill, Souness and Dalglish all stand a chance. Wouldn't know about Baxter as not really seen any footage of him. Obviously never seen him when he the p**s out of the England team?

Jinky Johnstone, Derek Johnstone, some of the 1967 Celtic team must be mentioned. Again though, we've never went past the groups in a major tournament, so technically the 1998 World Cup squad is as good as any. Even though they were completely Johnny Rotten.

One who would have been one of the greatest if he hadn't died so young John White. Agree with Hope on this one (probably the only time so far), a great player and died at the age of 27 (ish) in a freak accident.

There were three great scots at spurs during the double season, bill brown, dave McKay and John White plus a great Irish man in Danny blanchflower how things have changed in 50 years.
