Very even first half but their quality has shown 2nd half, we haven't had a look in.

We've done well considering the make shift defence. Take the money and concentrate on the league. Turner seems to be resting players by bringing them off. Good move

Wonder how the press will talk about our performance? Will we get a mention for out playing them for 45 minutes?

Well played Salop. Arsenal might be having a tough season in the league, but they're still a very good team. We can certainly hold our heads up high.

They did us proud, no mistake.
For the Arsenal fans to lower themselves to a bit of "who are ya" only goes to show how concerned they were.
Talk about the young Arsenal side; what about Collins / Bradshaw / Goldson / Grandison?
The wife just summed it up listening to Radio Shropshire switching to the Telford match summary, "Who on earth cares about Telford now"

Outstanding.
Sounds like Connor Goldson really stepped up to the plate. Smith is our best keeper since Hart and Grandison given MOTM by Steve Cross.
What Arsenal site were the highlights on ?

Really proud of the team tonight - first half was amazing and seeing the net ripple after Collins goal is going to live long in the memory
Arsenals classed showed 2nd half when they got their passing together, just a shame we couldn't get a bit of possession down there end as their defence looked iffy
For all the talk if it being a young Arsenal side the likes of Gradison, Collins, Goldson, Bradshaw and Taylor are young too and will learn a lot from tonight's game.
Great night out though - cracking ground

Wish I was there. Was great to listen to. But now, focus on Saturday.
I wonder how many of the 5000 fans who went tonight will be at the Torquay game on Saturday? I knew a lot of people going tonight who I know hadn't been to a home game for ages, I knew one lad going who hasn't even been to the new ground. People like this annoy me. But oh well, moving on.
Am really proud tonight to call myself a Town fan and may we build on this experience, and hopefully may it be a motivation to players to push on because if we go up the leagues, we can be playing at huge grounds like this regularly in the future.

Or maybe I'm being too optimistic :-) It's a night for optimism I hope the boys aren't too knackered for Torquay. I'll be more than happy if they can grind out a 1-0 and keep the good form going.
