Surely GT will have to bring somebody in this week?

We need more pace in central defence. Like to see someone come in with a view to becoming a permanent signing in January.

Not sure it isn't a right back we should sign and leave Grandison in central defence.

^^^^^ Agreed, Grandison loses nothing in the air, get a 1-3 month right back who can play CB, Dont trust Goldston just never impressed me, looked fazed by Telford in Shrop senior cup

Would like to see GT get a loan in. Wouldn't want to rely on Goldson.

sorry Saloplad93 you have never heard of a spelling mistake, and all capitals is bad grammar Actually, this complete sentence contains very poor grammar. Possibly worse than the sentence that you have berated.

Some centre back from Gillingham has just been given the o.k to go out on loan according to the football League Show.
And what's the position with Langmead? How long was his loan to Northampton for? Oh..it's til Jan..that's that option gone!

In two minds on this one. I'd like GT to keep faith on Tues with the young lads (remember what happened at Wembley with Kaye and Robinson?) but if we got absolutely hammered it could dent their confidence.

If one or both will be back in a week I'd say leave it - there isn't really time to get someone in for Arsenal now. If both are out for longer, we surely need an emergency loan. Centre back more urgently than right back, I'd say.
Personally, I'd much rather see Goldson given a chance than any old defender with a bit of experience. I thought he did really well once he got into the game. Don't forget this is a teenager with no experience who hadn't even expected to be on the bench. I can't believe he's getting negative comments on here.

True - after all he was good enough to keep out Port Vale - in the long term a far more important task and result than tomorrow.

Think Canavan has been playing for Scunny. How long is everyone out for? I wouldn't say no to giving Goldson a go. We still have 4 fit defenders, and i'm sure Richards, McCallister, Leslie could do a job at Full back if called upon

i do wonder if one of our injured centre halfs might make a miraculous recovery for tomorrow night. If not then Connor Goldson should get his chance
If we are going to be without both for any period of time then I am sure someone will be coming in, but no idea who
