Great stuff, was ever so slightly gutted that we didnt make the manage 3 tonight, but the, er, temporary shortage of away support may have had something to do with that

Hardly surprised at the few away fans - a 4 hour journey means that majority need to take time off work to get there, and indeed, would not get home until the early hours of Wednesday.
The game was virtually meaningless to both teams.
In addition, many others would have spent hard earned cash coming up for the original date, and wouldnt have fancied doing so again, especially as we had a long away trip to Accrington last Saturday (plus other away trips to Telford and Leigh(also midweek) recently as well).
Had the game been played on its original date, there probably would have been close on 100 Fleet fans - still not massive away support, but a decent enough number.

Indeed...and we've taken less than that to places when we were in the league...

Excellent attendances this season and without sounding arrogant how many more would it have been if we had challenged for the title?

Indeed an excellent following. And i personally believe it won't drop too much next year especially if we are challenging.
