assuming we can i think he should come back soon if he keeps helping our rivals get closer. plus it would give us a bit more cover up front

Wouldnt want him back.
His attitude stank when he was on the bench here, and as it stands, thats where he would be anyway.

I'd be very very surprised if we ever saw him in STFC kit again - Torquay can keep him, we'll soon have Elder and Van Den Broek on the subs bench as well as Bradshaw and together with harrld, Ainsworth and Collins there's no room for the t**tter in chief.

Don't think he will be back this season as we agreed a season long loan with Torquay I think
As he shown at Torquay can score at this level so wouldn't rule him out of returning next season, but to be perfectly frank if we do go up I'd have thought we'd need bit more quality up front than we have and moving out of contract players on will probably be way to bring in new players

I'm not that bothered about the twitter thing - but know others don't like it. Think it will get much more common as time goes on. think there is an element of him knowing fans follow him and likes to throw cat amongst the pigeons at times
One thing that you do pick up via his updates is he's on a new diet and doing a lot of gym work - maybe Town and/or Torquay realise he needs to be more physical to make it in league to and to have more stamina to get through games?

Scored a good goal v Cheltenham apparently. I heard some month loans and some season long. Unsure would want him back, some attitude problems and have enough up top atm i think, espec with Ainsworth included

No thanks. We have 3 better strikers than him, he's a big earner on the wage bill and his attitude stank.
Overrated.

Torquay aren't a major rival unless our aim is still just to sneak into the play-offs, so they can keep him and he can score a few that might help us.
His time here is up now I feel

Didn't he tweet about wanting "revenge" against us?
Not someone who should return. That's a Sunday league mentality, not a pro.

Though I can't imagine many know exactly what he's on, I don't think it's out of the question to suggest he's on fairly big wages. A lot of Simpson's signings were, and given that he had to be convinced to move down a level and come to a new part of the country, I'd imagine his wages aren't small.

Turner stated in the press that he had manged to get a couple of big earners off the wage bill the day after Transfer Deadline day I think
The implication of that was it was Robo and Holdon.... and that Grandison and Wroe would be on less???
Thats the way i read that..

It didn't take him long to decide he wanted to move all the way to Torquay though and that would be for the same money.

So if your not playing or not in the team and your unhappy with the situation does not mean his attitude stinks. I think if we all was a player in the same situation we all would feel pi$$ed off. So as an eg Robbie Savage throwing his boots against Forest the other week to me shows passion but others would say his attitude stinks. Sometimes the reason is frustration not attitude problems.

He put on there earlier, something along the lines of: "So Graham Turner was at Torquay v Cheltenham? Gave him a good chance to see what he's missing."

Agreed. Some people on here are pathetic with their personal vendettas against the lad. Quick to forget all the goals he scored at the start of the year which got us a lot of points. If we go up this season his goal will have contributed and for that he deserves some respect.

Devil's advocate time again (purely because I don't care either way), but by the same token shouldn't he not be so quick to forget those who supported him before spouting rubbish on Twitter? Goes both ways, I believe.

Think it's easy to take individual twitter comments in isolation and read more into them than the writer intends If you read all his tweets a lot are like where the latest meal he's cooked is a culinary master piece, or the tv programme he's watching is best tv programme ever To me the revenge comment was said but others might see it differently #bestpostever

I'd have him back as he has ability to be a match winner, however that's not possible and obviously there is many who dislike the guy for some of his 'tweets' - alot made out of nothing for the majority of them.
And while he has faults, many - sometimes fitness, a can't be arsed attitude, lack of tracking back etc, overrated? Who's doing that? He's a league two striker, has big spells without goals and times when loads come at once. His goals from the start of the season burst leave us looking up toward automatic, for that at least give the lad a break!
