Is anyone watching? Is it as bad as the score would suggest? If the Dutch can continue as they now are this is going to be a very tricky chase, could go to the wire... No shocks as yet; step up England... Hold up, we've just taken another wicket...

Not sure what you mean by 'as bad as the score would suggest' - Netherlands going at 4.4 rpo which is reasonable, they are a decent side in fairness - Doeschate in particular is a very good batsman, seen a lot of him in domestic T20 and one day stuff. However their bowling isn't up to much so I'd expect us to chase down anything under 300, always the chance we'll feck it up though like we did against them in the T20! Glad that they're putting runs on the board, there have been too many one-sided matches so far in this world cup.

Not sure what you mean by 'as bad as the score would suggest'. I was referring to our bowling attack our kid, I thought we'd be better placed than 136-3 when I posted... Understand what you are saying about the competition so far, or rather lack of it...would rather they were to notch up the runs against someone else though...

We should try and sign Ten Doeschate, before Australia snap him up.

The only thing most of my colleagues know about it is they beat us last time (20-20). Living in fear of a Dutch victory. They keep asking 'who's winning?'

ten Doeschate reaches his ton off an overthrow, another 5 runs to Holland At least the run chase will be interesting!

Anderson bowling like a numpty Looks like we mayl be testing my overconfident claim of easily chasing 300...

My Indian colleagues inform me it’s easy to chase at Nagpur. They are pretty confident England will be able to chase down this total. Can't say I'm as confident about it as they are...
Makes for a decent game though I suppose...

Strong words from the BBC text commentary...
FARCICAL! Village does not even come close to describe this England performance. That, ladies and gentlemen, is one of the worst England one-day bowling performances in history.
Dropped catches and even worse, losing out on a wicket because we had too many players in the circle. Sloppy that...
Reviews: England 0 (0 successful, 2 unsuccessful). Just about tops it all off.
I think I heard that England were 1/33 to win this game. Not sure what Holland were but if someone has taken a gamble they are in with a great shout of winning some decent money...

Makes for a decent game though I suppose... If we bat like we bowled, we'll lose horribly that's for sure. Complete amateur stuff, collingwood not being in the circle and so we miss out on a wicket, can't say I've ever seen that before from england - even more ridiculous from someone as experienced as him. Holland are still @ 4.6 on betfair which seems to go along with what your indian workmates say, england only 1.27

Trott doing his usual slow coach antics to make it a nail biter. If we lose Strauss soon I'll be worried.

Still close, but England SHOULD be able to see this one out.

His strike rate's decent enough. Better than KP's.

Damnit. Totally forgot about this! Havent the Netherlands done well. Still doable for England though, 6.85 needed with 14 left, with 8 in hand. Would prob make England fav's. Was it poor England or just an amazing batting display from South Africa? I mean Netherlands

His strike rate's decent enough. Better than KP's. In this game yes. I was probably a bit harsh on Trott, I'm just not sure that averaging 4.5 runs an over (225 par score) will win you many ODIs whether you carry your bat or not. As you sy KP and Strauss aren't much better.

222-2 with 10 overs to go.
Still got the batting powerplay in hand.

I like him. If scores a century from 115/120 or so, and the shotmakers play around him, that's a winning formula. The only real issue comes when he takes 15 balls to get going, and then loses his wicket before he's contributed. But he averages 56, so it's not overly frequently.

Still very much in the balance, Collingwood hasn't played well for a long time though so not a good time to be relying on him, would have sent Bopara in instead.

Should be a doddle according to Boycott. 43 from 34 balls needed.

To be fair to Boycott it should be. Doesn't bode well for a good tournament this...
I did think that the one day series loss in Oz was all very much after the lord mares show after the Ashes win. That it was perhaps not entirely surprising that England didn't perform. I thought England would be back focussed here...

Good run chase in the end.
Didn't we draw with the Netherlands a couple of world cup's ago?
