Podge was a Town fan in the late 70's, 80's, possibly early 90's as far as I can recall then he disapeared from view

So, you followed my advice then Good to hear from you again. Any plans to go to a future game? Whn was the last time you went to a Town game. I seem to vaguely recall seeing you at Cardiff a few years back?

I was about 15-17 when Chris Wynne, Podge and Peter Bell not forgetting Beasty me to places like OPO and Cheers Then the Bladens joined us at the Buttermarket (was still massively underage) - no idea about riverboat !!! Cheers got burnet down before I really got to know it then it was the Fridge with Wrighty DJing !! Then there was the time the crows saved us on Wrexham railway station ....
in a word i dont know the riverboat JP !!

the place was amazing be it motown, new order, motorhead playing... the placed buzzed, unlike todays liquid and flares probably the fridge has more of a legendary status with its famous 'carpet' which everyone used to sit on, puke on, spill drinks on.. the fridge was like the ultimate houseparty. but there was something special about cheers - round pool table et all !
I have lots of pics of podge together with chris wynne (with hair) - (somewhere)

It was always an ambition to go to Cheers, I'd been told how good it was, but it burned before I was old enough to get in The Fridge was class notworthy notworthy notworthy

Sorry to bring this back up, but I noticed on the bar below that it is he is birthday today and, on checking, this was the only time he ever posted, despite threats of more. Happy 46th Birthday Podge owd lad if you are still looking in. Let us know what you are up to, its being few years since I saw you at Sainsbury's now. Can't believe you are two days younger than me, like Belly, you look so much older!!!!

Ah, the away bus of the late 80's Lets see.... Podge and his mintoe obsession, no wonder his teeth were so bad. almost as sad as his ELO obsession. He used to come down to Craven Arms with Beller and beatson in tow and steal all my dads hard earned money off him playing cards, how me dad used to curse the sight of Pete's s**tty little vauxhall pulling into the yard...Those ****ing boys are back again he used to sigh, in anticipation of another epic butt whipping
Matt Snapper2, I still have your picture of our exploits at places like Crystal palace, Hull and Huddersfield. Glory days!
Podge... STFC Legend!!!
