If he does really well at Torquay wonder if we could still make a bit of money.

If he does really well at Torquay wonder if we could still make a bit of money. Shouldnt be able to as he will be out of contract in the summer when his loan at Torquay ends, the transfer window has now passed so the chance has gone to sell him for a fee.

And 24, so offering him a new deal doesn't help. If you loan someone out for the last six months of their contract they are not coming back. He's gone.

What an attitude.... What a c0ck! Anyone who takes the name of a Crawley player on twitter must be a bit of a cock.

I think the point being made was his attitude towards us whilst still being under contract to us... He really does come across as a total cock his attitude to other people was totally my point a few weeks back when i mentioned him on twitter totally got misinterprited as me sticking up for rio ferdinand though the bloke is clearly in cloud cuckoo land no respect for fellow professionals and none even for his employers

What a ****bish attitude. Going public with his feeling's over GT has probably rightfully ruined the slighest hope he'll be around next year.
Pilch, you may have been right on this one

Shocking to be posting that sort of thing on there.
Hasn't got a problem with the fans? I think some of the fans may now have a problem with him!
A potential banner for that game?

Someone just asked him if he would celebrate if he scored against us to which he replied 'in front of their bench, not the fans'

I can't get too hung up on what he says. I'm sure there are bigger idiots out there.
But what about the sycophants that message him. If these are the types of people the players come across in clubs and bars, no wonder they disappear into their own little world.

Poor lad is licking his wounds after losing his place to an 18yr old rookie. He knows full well he's finished here after such a great start so bound to be bitter.
Laughed at his tweet encouraging town fans to follow Craig Stanley!!

Do what the hell he wants, say what you want on twitter, not a problem. In and around the club , on and off the pitch is where your attitude has to be spot on, 1 team and all that.
He gets brownie points cos hes a Packers fan! but his days as a town player are numbered and were as soon as he started to give off the vibe of sulking being disgruntled & with not being the focus of attention, regardless of the truth a lot of the time its about perception and hence you can understand the opinions of guys like Pilch.

I seems to think that he can play against us next month, re Tweets? I seems to think that he can play against us next month, re Tweets? He seemed to think he could play the other night too.. On a wider point, I don't really get all the vitriol towards his attitude, on twitter anyway. Alright, the "i must be a really bad player" one was a bit sly, but the majority mentioned on here just come across a bit as banter/sarcasm to me. It's easy to take individual tweets out of context, but as well as any petulance, he's also been amusingly self deprecating at times, thinking after the Crewe game particularly, with his penalty miss. I know generally there's a lot of talk about the players tweeting irresponsibly, but i think it's a decent insight in to the team spirit, and a useful way of remembering that they are actually people. People complain there's not enough of a human side to the game these days - the warmth and enthusiasm with which the whole squad reacted to Jon Taylor's goals the other night, both on the pitch at the time, and on Twitter, was decent to see. I don't really know what my point is, or why i'm still typing. He definitely shouldn't be allowed to play against us.. That's how I see it too Hippo.

i see your point too hippo the whole reason i brought it up in the first place was due to the history between turner and messageboards sure i remember him banning the odd fan due to a bit of critisism on a forum and yet here is one of his own employees ripping into everyone that moves not to mention having a pop at refs can get you into trouble promptly proved by babel at the end of the day its only a case of us quoting what hes said and discussing it thats the kind of thing a message board was invented for
