Just an announcement about Jermaine Grandison now - hopefully GT has had time amongst the Wroe negotiations to spend time on the phone to Coventry City.[/quote That would top off an excellent day's business. Also think we should look at signing the person who updates Torquay's website, true commitment!

Am i right in thinking Jakes contract is up in the summer? If so i dont think we see him in a town shirt again and hes a free agent come season end.

Alot of Torquay fans seem to think he was a great Conference player but struggled a bit in league Two, hopefully GT will get the best out of him risky signing but potentially a good one.

Cheer up you miserable old git! Well done GT He might well be brilliant but I'm just wondering how many people are in a position to judge. Reasonable question isn't it? Yes it is. Unsettled at Torquay, homesick, whats to move up North, is the Midlands close enough? Is he going to be high maintenance? Does he have a fragile state of mind? Lets hope he doesn't go the way of Terry Dunfield and to a certain extent Kev McIntyre.

Good luck Nicky but I feel for him a bit already. There is a hell of a lot of responsibility on his shoulders to rectify our ramshackle midfield.

I am open to giving this guy a proper chance and will wait before making an opinion on him. To be written off before you play a game or hyped up to be a worldbeater when you aren't is such a great thing that our fans do.

I did not see the Torquay home game on the 2nd October 2010, but from that game what did supporters think about Nicky Wroe? Did he control the midfield, was he involved and did he pose a goal threat?

He missed a pen.. Dont remember much more than that.. Should fit in well perfect - though need to worry we have had only one pen this season!
