A deserved defeat over the 90.
The two centre mids are not good enough. End of. Yes McIntyre tries but would any other promotion chasing side pick him?
January has been a pretty s**tty month.

And with the transfer deadline just72hours away I can't see things getting any better Ant - our most successful part of the season saw McAllister and Disley together with Harrald and Robinson upfront so I ask again if it wasn't broken why try fixing it?

How long before fans vote with their feet? Tuesday's attendance could be interesting for the wrong reasons.

Absolutely awful performance first half. 2nd half a little better, but could have lost by 4 or 5.
We cannot pass and try killer balls.
Defence looks so unsure.
Harrold should have been on from the start.
It may not have made a difference but are we ever going to have a pen

So what's the plan now? There's no point trying to play pretty stuff because it's obvious we don't have the playmaker to do it. Do we go long ball and try and get nasty?

Its a tough question... on the evidence of the last few games,.... 442 with Harrold and NAOther ... try and play it nice and Harrold can do that to,and at least we can go long and hope it gets held up, and the way the defence are panicing and clearing lines it happens more offten that not..... got to be the way forward?

Didn't Harrold make a difference, better second half and; I thought, deffo pen. Good job we have a decent keeper in Smith, thought he was very good even MOM, maybe Harrold and Collins up front

What a poor performance overall. Central midfield was completely spineless throughout, in the first half we had the extra man yet were getting completely overrun, we never passed to Wright and the ball kept bouncing off Ainsworth. Inevitable & correct double change at HT to go 442 and Harrold caused them problems, Bury are very average at the back and we just didn't test them enough. Half chance for Collins from Wright's free kick that he should have hit the target with and no doubt about the 1 penalty claim near the end when hit defender's hand above his head, but a point out of that match would have been a complete fluke - if Ajose hadn't been so greedy Bury could easily have had 3 or 4. Another poor away performance, another away defeat and our poor run continues. A bit of impetus needed by a couple of central midfield signings to shake things up and fingers crossed we can put Burton to the sword on Tuesday

Taming of the Shrews" catchphrase wheeled out again and a Simpson grin to finish the night sums my night up really!
Unless GT gets busy over the weekend before the window closes we are the team we are , 1 win in 8, 1 point out of 9.
As much as id like to see players in im as keen to see some obvious ones see the exit door.

I only saw the second half.
For about 15 minutes thought we competed ok, and with a bit of direct football, created a couple of chances. Bury still played the better football and could easily have won the game more comfortably. Criminal, considering their awful home record.
Where we go from here interesting. It's totally clear that the first 5 games were a flash in the pan, not to be repeated. The points gained however mean we'll stay competitive for the play-offs until mid-April at least.
But as a football club, nothing has moved forward significantly forward on the pitch since May. Given that GT is roughly a third of the way through his managerial stint here, that's a concern.
Depressing.
