Last night I watched Winters Bone. Tonight I watched The Messenger. Both excellent although both very different. Woody Harrelson is a bloody legend! Oh, and Samantha Morton would get it in a heartbeat!

Oh, and Samantha Morton would get it in a heartbeat! In that Republican impotent/limp status that Aw Shucks Sarah Palin referred too? But I did just watch Damn United - very entertaining

Harry Potter. Brilliant film, despite a dissapointing ending - but that was expected.
Went to see Social Network the other week, wasn't impressed at all.

Oh, and Samantha Morton would get it in a heartbeat! Don't know what you see in her really... I think it's the eyes..... Just watched The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, great thriller, even though it's two and a half hours long and sub-titled, I was glued. Watching the sequel tomorrow!

I have to admit I won't waste my time going to see any bad films so most of the films I have seen this year are pretty decent (In my opinion ) Inception - Just Brilliant would reccomend it to anyone. Saw it twice. Even better second time round. The Social Network - Although many claim it is not an accurate portrayal of the events, it is an excellent film. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, who played with fire, Kicked the Hornets Nest - As book adaptations go it was a decent stab at cramming all those pages into three films. Enjoyable. The first was the best of the three. Let Me In - Conclusive proof that some films should not be remade. See the original Swedish version. Made in Dagenham - Just brilliant. A genuine suprise. Andrea Risborough = Sexy! My Top film of 2010 is Inception.

Forgot about Kick Ass and Scott Pilgrim vs The World.
Sticking with Inception but they are both good films.

Went to see Megamind 3D on Saturday with my 10yo daughter, we thought Tron might be on but it doesn't start til Friday so we chose Megamind instead. Both of us were a bit unsure as to whether we'd enjoy it or not so we were did chuffed when it turned out to be really good.
Good story, great 3D effects and entertaining throughout. I'd recommend it to anyone with kids aged 8+

Inception ... Worst and only one walked out of: 500 Days of Summer Be interested in what you make of Inception then - similar sort of non-linear plot device used. If you walked out of 500... then think you'd better get ready to be disappointed. For the record, 500 was one of my favourite films of 2009, well worth putting the effort in to compartmentalise the scenes you're watching (just like Inception). My wife hated 500 though and gave up on Inception, so seems like they're just a bit marmite.

I didn't like '500 days...' because of its terminally wet characters and their 'look at me I'm kooky' friends, nothing to do with non linear plotting. I found it horribly irritating and unbelievable on any level.
I'm a big fan of Christopher Nolan and if Inception is anything like Memento it'll be a treat.
