Agreed Scooter...
But for everything above, file it under "nothing will be improved". It may at some point be fixed (scoreboard, loos, hairdryers not the Tanoy its crap and has never worked correctly in the west stand) but for improvments to things, that costs MONEY.... unless we have a fans group who can magically raise 60k for a mega scoreboard it wont happen, the club are not going to spend the money on it as it does not benefit them...
A great axample of the clusb reluctance to help make the fans feel more at home its the frankley discrasfull concourses issue... its taken the TRUST to get anything started on this, Why could the club not have just said heres some money and done it when it was built? or when we got to Wembley (and recouped some cash) or when we sold Holt, or when we got the J Hart Money, it would not have been much but would have gone a long way to showing fans they are fans not customers....
This season more than ever I feel like a customer, hell the footballs better, but the gleen of the new stadium is rubbing off, and the little niggles become more and more annoying....
As I said I doubt anything will change untill RW has moved on.. (ps this rant does not preclude all the hard work RW did to get us the stadium, I just dont know why we are letting the standards slip in quality of match day experience when we tryed so bloody hard to get there!)

What we need is a score board like we had down the old meddah. We could put it the corner between the North and East Stand.
None of this new fangled nonsense and no gremlins.
Maybe the Superblues could sort one out once they've sold all their Xmas raffle tickets.

I may be wrong here, but I thought it went tits up when the move was planned. The Board members met with supporters groups, but it seems the fans input was rather resented, so they walked away. Hence, we finished up with bugger all that would have enhanced the matchday experience for the fans, (i.e., the customers).
When was the last time any Board members stood/sat with the rank and file, to use a trade union expression. I'll bet if the tele was broken in the Directors box, it would have been fixed straight away. The one in the East Stand has been broken for weeks.
I've got a lot of time for Roland, if you think he's a poor chairman, I can point you in the direction of far worse, but the communication between board and fans was lost when Steve Wellbeloved left, imo. I don't think the Directors liked what he had to say from the supporters point of view. The thing about the British, is we tend not to complain, but just walk away. They will put their fingers in their ears and shout, "I can't hear yooouuu", at their peril.

We all know there's not a bottomless pit but lets be honest the score board is p** poor. We don't need a jumbo-tron but a basic board that could display a little more info than currently would be good. I don't think it's in the right place either as a rare ray of sunlight renders the current excuse useless from the south stand. With regard to the catering I can't believe there isn't a filtering system in place at the food outlets. The current system seams a bit disorganized and a simple filtering system in the form of railings would be a vast improvement. Apart from my moans lets be honest we don't have it that bad. Been to a few away games this season and things could be much worse. Anyone remember the all new ground at Morecambe (the name escapes me) for such a new ground the facilities to the rear of the away stand are a joke! and what about the toilets at Bury? It could be much worse.

Come on lads, lets get our sensible heads on. We have a new ground with more mod cons than we were used to; covered seating, good, hot, reasonably priced food, beer, concourses with T.V. screens, bogs with hot and cold water and hand driers, an on site club to drink in before and after the match. Sometimes things don't work the way you want them to, but overall everything is o.k. most of the time. Look on the bright side.... you could be supporting other teams not too far away!

If you mean AFC, at least they sell chips INSIDE the ground , well they were the last time I was there
