I quite like option D, the quarters strip as its something we havent done in blue and amber before (but I believe we have in blue and white), option E looks like a Boca Juniors shirt whereas option C looks like a Torquay away strip!
Option A is also good but something is telling me to go for D, will probably make my mind up over the next week or so, but I hope Joma are going to put amber in the strips, as all of these designs have yellow in them.

Nah, I'm just joshing with you. It would be A if the stripes were thicker, but it'll have to be D as it's got "that" sort of look about it. I'd love it even more with quartered socks! Sending emails to Whitters is hardly a secure method of voting either. Good point. Work addresses at the ready too i suppose if someone felt strongly about a particular kit, there is nothing to stop them creating 50 email addresses and voting with each.

Well some great choices here. I love option A - however, i wish the back was the same as the front of the shirt. Option B - Nice design, but i have noticed a few clubs adopting this style this year (Crystal Palace and Southampton) - but i do love the socks though. Option C - Good option for an away shirt - lovely socks again. Option D - Excellent choice, very different more amber needed - also wish the socks from option B were used here. Option E/F - Both look like training tops to me.
In summary it's between A, B and D for me - i just can't decide yet.

FWIW I prefer B, although won't buy another kit until the death of that ridiculous lion.

FWIW I prefer B, although won't buy another kit until the death of that ridiculous lion. It is a great shame to finally have some cracking designs for it to be ruiend by that pointless badge - ahh well.

Is it just me or has option A changed on the original article on shrewsweb? The back is now the same as the front which is what a couple of people said they would have preferred?
For me, I'm torn between B&A.

AIt is our first punt at Amber stripes for many years. We have to take that opportunity. As Ive said on numerous threads, Id love a unique identity that at the same time does have some links to our past, Blue & Amber stripes ticks all the boxes. Saying that I do like all of the designs but it will be A for me

D or A for me. ..................... B and D I dont like, E is ok I suppose Now I'm confused - do you like D or not Fred? Problem with A and D, both of which are OK as they stand, is what they look like when all the logos and names and numbers get added - could be messy. Has any team with a diagonal ever won anything? Reminds me of Palace and City in the 80s - trying hard but never getting there. An also ran kit. Glad to see I'm not the only one that really likes this season's kit. Looks far better than any we've had in recent years and I'd be happy to keep it.

Personally don't like any of 'em A/ Looks like a kit they would use at Stoke Heath Young Offenders institution B/ Used by American Soccer Club c/ OK as an Away kit D/ Brizzle Rovers kit E/ Would look good as casual T Shirt on Magalluf Beach F/Colin Robinson and Nigel Pearson wore this one in the early 80's Lets just stick with this years kit, i like it now

D or A for me. Regarding D, this is the same as back in the early 80's and came after the stripes whilst Turner was still manager, so I would not be surprised if this is his 1st choice, it is certainly mine. Don't you mean F Rob? My choice also. Saying that much prefer this seasons kit over any of them. Yes I did mean F, and I also prefer this seasons kit over the choices, at least for one more season. The stripes need to be thicker on kit A so F would get my vote. I am disapointed they did not bring out a plain blue shirt with amber shorts and Blue socks

A or E for me. What's C all about, that couldn't be our home kit, could it? Not a fan of D either, as already mentioned, too much like Brizzle's that. Every opponent will make the comment, lets stand out! B is also very much like Southamptons current one off strip, obviously different colours and that. Still, I don't mind that one, it seems quite alright.

what i dont understand about picking A, is why people want what is essentially our traditional kit (or has been since the late 70's on and off in one form or another), one we have had before and presumably one we will go back to after this fan designed one. so once we have had a season or two of fan designed stripes, there will be a move away from the stripes again.
that said, as i type, i am thinking that if people dont vote for the stripes, it could be taken to mean that supporters dont like them.

Its F all the way for me! It reminds me of our kit in the early-mid 80's. This stripe (A) obsession so many fans have is getting irritating, apart from 1979, its always been a bit of a jinx, i reckon stripes are cursed personally. I like C as an away kit and E is ok. As for D, its no, no way and never...in that order, Bristol Rovers are welcome to that abortion of a football kit.

I guess if the club read this thread they would say they cant win For a long time fans (including myself) have moaned about various things at the club but most notably the kit and badge as there was no attachment to the club. When the club went to an all blue kit this season the reaction was "why the hell are we doing that, we want blue and amber, preferably stripes". When the club said they would offer the fans a vote the response was very cynical, along the lines of "I bet there were be loads of blue/ blue and white kits with one terrible blue and amber" The club have now given us a selection of kits which are (in my opinion) a decent standard including a blue and amber stripe kit which everyone has been clamouring for. However the reaction now is isnt one of "we have got what we wanted" Im not saying fans have to be delighted with kit A, I just think people at the club will be having a chuckle at the responses on here and proving that no matter what they do, they cant please everybody.

But if its just a kit for a couple of years, then i like something a bit different.
