Bucks Head, should be a cracker, been twice this season, it's quite good to be able to go to a game and not be particularly bothered by the end result

It's all weather dependent for me... The missus is away so supposed to be playing Henlle Park Saturday and Meole Sunday. Got me new Titleist driver and hitting it well down the range so hopefully it'll help me score some points over the weekend..
Just hope it doesnt snow

Golf in the afternoon. Levellers at Theatre Severn in the evening. Then a couple of hours of the Test (as long as we haven't beaten them by then )

Just might take in Morecambe v Crewe.
Have somehow cultivated a bunch of drinking mates from Morecambe that are to be located in the executive lounge of the main stand.

Also contemplating Villa-Arsenal as Shrewsbury free weekends are drab though less tense!
Ned, no dig here, just wondering, how can you afford this but not town away games?

For me, Villa is cheap to get to. Only £5 on the train, plus a £20 ticket. Around the same as it costs for Town home games. There are several Town away games I should be at - Hereford, Cheltenham, Northampton, Oxford, Burton and maybe Vale.

I've just bought a Brennan JB7 and want to get that set up and start loading some CDs onto it but I'm quite tempted by a trip up the A53 to watch Market Drayton, assuming it's on (DraytonShrew - Saturday lunchtime pitch update would be helpful!).
Then again I quite fancy a walk with a warm pub at the end and Mrs V might prefer that too.

As for tomorrow, I was thinking about a local non league game, but seeing as we are forecast for minus 7 tonight don't think there will be any. So it could be the egg chasers v S. Africa on TV.

As for tomorrow, I was thinking about a local non league game, but seeing as we are forecast for minus 7 tonight don't think there will be any. So it could be the egg chasers v S. Africa on TV. I can't be sure as I haven't tried it yet but I bought the Brennan so that I could download all my CDs (they're 160, 320 or 500Gb, so much more capacity - up to 5,000 CDs - than an iPod) and then (my wife is hoping) I can put the CDs in the loft and empty a few shelves! I don't have anything like 5,000 CDs but I do have more than my 64Gb iPod could hold, given that I've also downloaded some other stuff onto that. You can also store music files uncompressed on the Brennan, which should improve playback quality though obviously it reduces capacity. It has a built in database for titles and track listings but not the sleeve reproduction of an iPod. You can also make playlists. It's a nice looking piece of kit too - has a slightly rougher, metallic, properly manufactured feel to it, rather than the sleekly moulded plastic of bigger manufacturers and hey! it's something designed and built in the UK! I could be wrong but I think it'll be good - www.brennan.co.uk if anyone's interested.
