Now forget league position. We've been in this league long enough to know what's required to get out of it. (Either way!).
Safety - 50 points. No one has ever gone down with that many.
Play-offs - 72/73 is usually enough.
Automatic - 77 should do the trick.
Champions - 81.
Shall we update this during the season?
Soooo....17 and counting.

The way Hereford are playing 14 points might be enough for safety

I think we could give the 102 points Plymouth accumilated in 2003 a shot if we play to our potential.

Just think how many it could have been for their two games against Town (10 men and all) Was that the match at Plymouth when they were redeveloping their stadium? We had someone send off after about 15 minutes and them Jemo lobbed the keeper from 30+ yards completley against the run of play? seem to remember a lot of " ground no fans" chants Great day out, even if i did have to get a lift back to the station from a copper because he was worried whether i would survive a 2 mile walk with a shrews shirt on...

Karl Murray sent off and then Jemmo did score - pretty sure it was from only a few yards rather than long range though I might be wrong! Mickey Heathcote was awesome in defence having signed from Plymouth only days before and ultimately it was his long-term injury, and Kevin Ratcliffe's failure to find an able replacement, which cost us our league status the season after.

That was one of my favourite Town away days - before the game the former Labour leader Micheal Foot was made a life president of Plymouth, but the ceremony was somewhat overshadowed by some bloke in a lion costume dancing round in front of the town fans and holding an impromtu penalty competition at the away end. Think Jemo's goal was from close range - we'd been under pressure all game after Murry was sent off, but we broke away and Jagielka had a shot saved by the keeper, Jemson scored from the resulting corner. I seem to recall Mark Cartwright having a cracking game in goal too.

I was Lenny that day. In my defence I'm pretty sure I won the penalty shoot out Was also ejected from the away end after we scored - confirmed as a case of mistaken identity by PAFC afterwards but it wasn't nice missing the final fifteen minutes and not having a clue what was going on!

I always assumed it was mr miller in the lion outfit that day! Not an upstanding member of the b&a community!

Don't forget the injury to Atkins as well, losing him on top of Heathcote was a blow we never recovered from.

To win the league I would say about 90 plus. Jake Robinson said on Football League Weekend that Turner divides the season into block of 6 games, although 5 maybe easier. 9 points from every 5 matches and we are up.

Sorry boys, only ONE team likley to break 100 and you playing them tomorrow! We're now 2/5 a top 7 finish, 11/10 to go up and just 4/1 to WIN the thing! You're 4/6, 15/8 and 7/1 the same bets........ You guys would obviously take a point now, bit like a win for you, but I'll go 3-1 the Vale UNLESS the Richards brothers get abducted by martians before tomorrow nite! lol.

Right it's still 17. But tonight, I'm very, very confident that the total will rise rather quickly. Cheer up. The good times are coming.
